Hi, I would like to know did anyone has  good results with this product. Before you start giving opinion about weight loss pills, let me just say that I have loss 50 lbs on my own but these last 20 pounds are rediculous. I have increased my workout and I have plateau from Nov. I haven't gained I am just maintaining and it sickens me to know that I am eating within range, and exercising but the scale remains the seem. I need something that will burn fat and increase my metabolism. If you have any good suggestions, please respond.

Thank you

What are your workouts?  Do you do any strength training?
My workouts are cycling outdoors, tae bo, turbo sculpt and I do a lot of strength training. I exercise 4 to 5 times a week and strength train 4 times a week.
My calorie range is 1200-1500 but I aim for 14-1500

I am 5 10 and I weigh 197
I used hydroxycut about a year and half ago but apart from giving me more energy I weighed the same. I worked out 6 days a week, (cardio and weights) and I could bike like a maniac for an hour but no other effects. I read it somewhere on the web that since ephedra is off the shelves, it's all cayenne pepper, caffine and green tea anyway. You may want to try different excericises to give your body a challenge. It looks like you got used to the routine. Experts advise mixing it every 4-6 weeks. Good luck. :) andie

You migt be at too low of a calorie level to be losing weight.  I know this sounds counter-intuitive, but when your calorie deficit is more than 1000 calories for too long, then your body stops losing weight and desperately holds on to every gram of fat tissue.

I'm 5'10" and 195 and have been losing weight at a steady clip at 2000 calories a day.  I work out a lot, so my total calorie burn is about 3000 cal/day.  It sounds like you work out a lot too, and since your sedentary burn is probably the same as mine - 1950, you are most likely eating too few calories.

Bump up your calorie intake to close that gap to 1000 calories on your total burn.  That will get you losing again.

I don't have any advice on hydroxycut. However, I think if you up your calories you will see your weight go down again. You work out so much, you need to take in more calories.

I am struggling to eat 1500 now...I guess I need to think of some more ideas to increase my calories..

Thank you
Especially with all of the strength training you are doing you need some extra protein.  I aim for at least 100 g a day of protein.  My favorite sources are cottage cheese, chicken and peanut butter.  Peanut butter is also an easy way to up your calories if you're struggling to eat more.
I haven;t try this product but I did use Lipo 6 for almost 30 days, is great have to say, I lost 10 pounds, cut lot of fat around my hips, belly and legs, I had lot of energy and I wasn't hungry all the time, but still ate my calories 1300, great product.
On the weekend I will purchase some protein shake....

You guys were great help.
I just started taking Hydrxycut again today, I'll give you an update later. I'm at a plateau right now so I figured I'd give it a try no weight loss in over  amonth sucks, so I'trying an alternative in addition to my calorie change I raised my cals because everyone was saying it was too low. We'll see what this Friday's weigh in says, I think I'll do a mid week weigh in too to track my progress.

Do you eat nuts??? They are fabulous for getting your cals up. If you want post your diet and we can help you design a better one for you to try for a few weeks.

This is what I eat

B- 1 cup of kashi go lean cereal with 1 cup of 1% milk

S- whole wheat bagel with creme cheese or peanut butter

L- healthy choice soup or healthy choice frozen meal along with a cup of milk

S- a fruit

D- baked chicken and 2 side order of veggies

S fruit

On your analysis what percentage carbs/fat/protein do you have?

My protein is 60 which I always meet

I don't meet my fat that is always on the lower end

My carbs are 250 I always hit 200 I am trying to get that down

My sodium is 1500
60 grams?

That's nowhere near enough when you're doing strength training - you need 1.8g/kg when lifting weights or doing other resistance training. So unless you're 60g:1.8g/kg=33 kg or 72lbs you're not getting anywhere near the protein you need daily.

Start by adressing that issue; once you get enough protein you're not likely to need any diet pills to help you.

(Besides, after ephedra was outlawed, most of them don't work any better than the caffeine they're made of. You're better off drinking more black coffee, IMAO)
Thanks .....I will solve this problem on the weekend.

You mentioned protein shakes earlier...I make them in my blender with a cup of milk and a scoop of whey protein - add a banana and some cocoa powder and it's a delicious snack!  Also, once you have a banana in the shake, it adds up to over 300 calories, and if you are having trouble getting your calories up it might help to be drinking some of them.

Also cottage cheese packs a good protein punch - it's good by itself or with tomatoes or blueberries.

Be patient with the results - if you've been at a too-low calorie level for a while it may take some time for your body to realize that it's getting what it needs and that it doesn't need to hold on to the fat anymore.  But I think it will pay off in the long run.

I tried hydroyxcut and I got nothing from it. No energy and no change from it. Just thought I'd input. Shanna

i know a couple of people who used this, and its a really intense one. can make you a bit strung out and hyper.

The people i know who used it had moderate success, but had better results (and less side effects) with things like lipo-6.

Remember these types of products are designed for HYPER fit body builders to rip body fat down, so they also rely a lot on the fact these people already have a HUGE muscle base and are doing a fair amount of exercise....

My only advice if you are going to take any of these is to make sure you follow the instructions in the build up phase really accurately to accustom your body to the drugs, otherwise you will experience significant increase in side effects.

I myself have just started with lipo6x and i have noticed a small increase in energy, although i haven't finished the build up phase (only 3rd day), but I'll keep you posted if you like. - send me a PM and i'll tell you how I'm going and if its any good for a "normal" person. ;)
