Has anyone tried hypnosis for weight loss? If you have did it help? Was it a waste of time? I think it makes sense.
Hypnosis isn't a magic bullet and it should be refreshed periodically, but it's a safe and modestly successful adjunct to a healthy diet and exercise. Hypnosis is a temporary state of intense consciousness, when you are highly responsive to suggestions, including any about food and exercise. Hypnosis seeks to erase the link between habitual behaviors and conditioned responses. It guides you to use your subconscious to reframe a new more effective response to the old behaviors. Hypnosis should be produced by a trained hypnotherapist. Read about hypnosis from the Guide to Mental Health at About.com.
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
