ice cream - just for fun :D

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask around see what everyone's favourite ice cream flavours were! I personally could give up anything and everything except for ice cream - its just the greatest thing! so..

1. What is your preferred ice cream store, shop, parlour?

2. What is your preferred flavour?

3. What do you typically add for toppings?

4. Do you prefer cones or cups, and why? just curious =)

okay, here are my answers:

1. Friendly's, or Baskin Robbins

2. Cookies and Cream! or any kind of vanilla flavour with Oreos mashed in

3. Oreo cookies :D

4. Cones, because it's more environmental after all (though I'm not the best at being eco-friendly in all other ways, but I try!)

Actually I don't crave a place. My favorite is Homamade Brand. Their flavor peanut butter and chip. I LOVE peanut butter in my ice cream, but not peanut butter florovered ice cream. I know, weird.

NO toppings

It really depends on my mood. I usually get cups though....

I like nestle and Walls ice creams

2. What is your preferred flavour?

Toffee

3. What do you typically add for toppings?

I love ice cream with chocolate/caramel sauce or with biscuit bits

Cones because they're yummy :D

First of all, I totally agree with you.  I have been able to give up or substitute something for every other craving except ice cream.  Nothing beats it!  

1.  I prefer store bought, Edy's.  I prefer it because I get more for the money.  Probably not a good idea though for watching portions.  

2. Lately, my preferred flavor is Edy's loaded cookie dough.  It's heavenly:)

3. I don't usually add toppings.  If I was at a sundae bar and had vanilla ice cream with every topping in front of me, I would add caramel and chocolate. 

4. I prefer to eat right out of the carton:)  I know, I have a problem.  There needs to be an ice cream recovery program:)

1. What is your preferred ice cream store, shop, parlour?  If I felt really indulgent, Haagen Dazs.  If I want something light but still flavorful, Yogurtland

2. What is your preferred flavour? Strawberry if it's Haagen Dazs, Taro if it's Yogurtland

3. What do you typically add for toppings? Fresh berries always, and maybe some carob chips or mochi balls

4. Do you prefer cones or cups, and why? just curious =) Cups, because I don't like cones (except waffle cones!) and I don't think they go well with ice cream.

1.  Don't really have a favorite ice cream store. 

2.  Love most any ice cream that has lots of nuts in it.  Adore ice cream that has peanut butter cups in it.  Has to have lots of crunchies, otherwise it's like eating frozen flavored milk.

3.  As far as toppings:  Chocolate sauce, whipped cream, chopped nuts, and, of course, a cherry.

4.  I like both cones and bowls, but prefer a bowl because it holds more.

Now, having said this, none of it is on my diet at the present time.

To the OP, I LOVE your name biscotti_e_panna....cookies and cream!  I live in Italy, so my answers will be based on what I find here.

1. What is your preferred ice cream store, shop, parlour? There is a gelateria by my apartment called Gelateria dei Gracchi...it is AMAZING!  They use all natural ingredients!

2. What is your preferred flavour? I absolutely love dark chocolate, but there is this unique flavor at the above gelateria called Toasted Almond with Orange...it is heavenly.

3. What do you typically add for toppings? If I feel like it, I like adding whipped cream, but only if it is made fresh.

4. Do you prefer cones or cups, and why? It depends on my mood.  I like cones because they delicious, but cups are usually less messy.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE ice cream.

1. I like dairy queen because of the blizzards! But I've been going to a local place, moose mountain creamery because they have low fat. But their regular is really good too.

2. I used to love chocolate chip cookie dough, but now I could eat just about anything lol. Rocky road is pretty amazing too.

3. I am plain when it comes to ice cream. If its soft serve maybe some sprinkles.

4. I used to get cones all the time, but I have been enjoying it in a cup lately :)

For the record, I cannot buy half gallons because I could eat the entire thing in one sitting. Its disgusting. I want to eventually get the vermonster at ben and jerrys. For myself. haha but I'd have to eat it fast because I hate melted ice cream! Now I want chocolate chip cookie dough, or a blizzard! 

1. What is your preferred ice cream store, shop, parlour?  None preferred.  During childhood we'd get ice cream cones from a High's convenience store near our house.  Now I get ice cream cones from the Ben&Jerry's in my school's SAU.  Usually my ice cream comes from the grocery store.

2. What is your preferred flavour? Something fruity or chocolately.  My favorite brand is Turkey Hill because they make awesome flavors (strawberry cheesecake, raspberry lemonade, green tea mango, banana split) 

3. What do you typically add for toppings?  I usually dont.  If someone gives me plain vanilla (eww) I put on a ton of chocolate syrup.

4. Do you prefer cones or cups, and why? just curious =)  Cones because they are edible :p

I like a few around here. Chain-wise, Coldstone. Otherwise, Thomas Sweet in Princeton, NJ and Maggie Moo's in Robbinsville, NJ

Dark Chocolate, Pistachio and Cake Batter (dear god)

Not much now, dark chocolate chips in my dark chocolate. But if i go all out, good god, peanuts, brownie pieces, bananas it's endless what my terrible sensibilities are capable of.

Cups. I don't like dribbiles. I kind of like the waffle cone cups witht he chocolate jimmies stuck on them.
