Ideal Nutritional Report Percentages

Quote  |  Reply
Hi Everyone - I'm new to the site and was curious what is the ideal nutritional report percentages on the analysis page?  For example, in one day what percentage of carbs, protein, fats, etc. should you have in an ideal diet?  I'm at around 25% fats & proteins and 50% carbs.  My daily ratings are usually A but I'm not loosing any weight - so I'm afraid my breakdown isn't right.  Any help would be appreciated.

the RDA values for carbs is about 50%, prot 30% and fat 20%...but u can adjust these figures depending on your needs. less fat is always good but remember the body converst carbs and proteins to fat as well...
Your Report sounds great, however it's not a given that you'll lose weight because of that. The most important thing is, after all, to keep your cals lower than what you usually burn up a day. The tricky thing is, to find out how much you burn on an average day though.

Try the allowance tab under your account to find out how many cals you burn on average a day.

I lost pretty much weight so far by having an average 33% fat 25% protein and 42% carbs. Cals are cals no matter from what source, 1gram fat has about twice as much cals as 1g protein or carbs, however fat also is a great way to feel full, use it wise and you'll have an easier time loweing your cal intake!
