I really do think it depends on the person, everyone carries weight differently. For example, I am probably thinner now at 111lbs than I was at 108lbs, but the reason I am heavier could easily be because my chest increased a full cup size, from a 34A, to a 34B.

I'm not going to give individual weights per height, I will just say that for me, the BMI I think is most attractive is 18.5 - 19.2. But of course, I have seen people on here with a BMI of 20.5 who look far thinner than other people with a BMI of 18.

What do you think svkas?

Oh yeah, i know what you mean...i weigh pretty much still my starting weight (it flunctuates between two lbs and is the same as what i started as) and i feel like i am in much more shape than i used to be even though i was always in shape and actually used to be like stick thin buttt ive filled out at have you, im a 32B and have a big booty hahah.

i think your right, it depends on their figure and everything because i have a friend at a little over 5;1 nad 93lbs but she on the other hand doesnt have the curves i do. so really this post may not be a good one :P ha too many differences in ppl's bodies and how their weight is carried

I think if you eat well and exercise regularly your body will turn into its own "ideal" weight. I always thought I wanted to be 125 but when I started living a healthier lifestyle my body dropped to 110 and stayed there. I think that was my 'ideal' weight because I still ate the foods I wanted to and didn't overwork myself exercising. I'm 5'6 so thats considered a little underweight but my body felt good so I didn't listen.

I think its hard to put an ideal weight to a height as some girls are more busty than other girls and have bigger booties lol. I am 5ft 8 and i weight 136 ish. I have been exercising over the last few weeks and although i havnt lost anything i feel and look much better just because i have been working out.  My BMI is 20ish. I used to weigh 117 - way WAY to thin for my height - i looked ill and had no womanly curves!!!!  Now i have curves and feel great - ideally i would like to get down to 125 but if i ever start looking as thin as before then i would stop. I think all us girlies need out curves. i do believe the men love it!!!!

egh i'm fairly curveless at 5'6.5 and i naturally maintain a much lower body weight than medically recommended. They never take into account my flatness/asslessness/really small bone structure, my bmi is 16-something and there are girls who weigh more who look thinner than me b/c of proportions.

I have a typical runner's body... no curves or nothing. Typical dancer's legs, nice and vainy with good muscle tone. I could be in a fitness magazine, but would be frowned upon in the Victoria's Secret community! lol (barely any boobs, 32 B on a good day!) lol

Right now, I'm 5'5" and 103 lbs. My bmi likes to hover around the 17's, but when I really focus on eating huge, I can manage to hit the 18's. I've always been a skinny kid, so I guess that this is my ideal build. Thankfully though, I do have a bit of a butt lol. My body's odd though...

I have a really thin neck, long torso, and am chestless. My arms are very long and boney, heck, my elbow's the biggest part of my arm :/

I like my lower half though, six pack abs, a deceant size ass for my body, and really nice legs! My lower half is probably the only part of my body that I like. lol

For someone of small frame at age 16, I think I'm healthy! My heart is good, I eat more than anyone else I know (okay, only a third of Micheal Phelp's 1200 calories but...), and I get a period, which all my friends are shocked at. It's just because this is the way I'm built and my body is happy at my current weight!

Someone's ideal weight should really be determined upon thier lifestyle. If you workout, eat right, and live a balanced lifestyle, then you're at a good weight!

This is for someone a girl who's 16. And it the thinner side of healthy...

5'0=100lb

5'1=104lb

5'2=108lb

5'3=111lb

5'4=115lb

5'5=118lb

5'6=122lb

5'7=126lb

5'8+=130lb+

My mom's a nurse..she always said you start at five feet with 100 pounds and add five pounds for every inch. it makes sense to me and sounds about right.

really i think it's just where you're comfortable and where you're healthy. not by weight but if you've got good vitamin levels, iron levels, you're not tired, you're energetic, you're getting enough sleep, eating lots of fruit and veggies and good carbs, and exercising as often as you possibly can. and also where you feel good. =)

i think my ideal weight is somewhere around 118-125 [that's a big margin but any time i was in that weight range i felt good about myself and my body].

i'm at 145 right now, but i'm only planning on getting down to 130. I have a chest for the first time, YAY, and I've always had a butt and curvy legs [although they're picking up more tone now, and i barely have any cellulite].

i mostly want to get rid of a lot of the fat around my middle, i have like three or four inches worth from belly button-widest part of my hips that are extra.

so I'm gonna say my ideal weight is anywhere from 120-130. i'll always be short [5'4] and curvy. but i want to feel fit and healthy too, and cut out all the excess fats.

i dont really think there should be ideal weights because muscle can offset that measurement so much
