I'm wondering what my ideal weight/size is. I am large boned, 5'3, and wear size 12. I would like to be 135 and wear a size 8. Is that reasonable for my body? Has anyone else been able to accomplish this and what did you do to make it happen. I'm trying to cut out gluten from my diet since I think its been causing problems. A friend of mine also cut gluten and lost 40 lbs. Any ideas?

I am 5'4" , medium to large frame {leaning more toward large}, and when I was at 135-140 the smallest{pants/dress size} I ever wore was a 10 {US sizing} but I have wide hips, and a figure that favors curves - thakfully, so does my Fiance ;)
I would say that an 8 wouldn't be out of the question if your hip bones are narrower, but with a larger frame your body may be just right at a 10-12 :)

My hips are rather curvasious. I'm actually an 8-10 on top and a 12 on the bottom. I joke with one of my friends that we got mixed up. She's heavy on top and a size 8 on the bottom.
I am also large boned. When I started my weight loss, I was size 10-12 ande 155 and 5'2. My goal was 20 lbs. That was 10 months ago. Today, I am size 4 and 124 lbs. I don't think I have been this size for a long time. People think I weighr less than 124 due to my bone strucrure. When I reached my weight loss goal, I decided to cocntinue a few more pounds, jusrt felt right. You will know what is the right weight for you. 135 is very doable.GOOD LUCK!
I should also mention that I am LA weight loss member. Smaller portions, many healthy snacks throughout the day. I never allow myself to get to hungry. My metabolism has changed somehow. I really am not having to work hard at maintaining now. Although I do continue the smaller portions , I do allow myself the odd treat. Keep starches at 2 small whole wheat portions perday if you can.
