If you don't know your ideal weight, here are some links to calculators to help you figure it out:

http://www.healthdiscovery.net/links/calculat ors/ideal_bw_women.htm

http://www.shape.com/fitness_tools/ideal_weig ht/

http://www.freedieting.com/tools/ideal_body_w eight.htm

My Wii Fit told me mine is 136.8 pounds, which is generally what I am shooting for anyway. The lowest result I got from ideal weight calculators was 128 pounds.

none of the links worked, but i just went to healthdiscover.com, shape.com, and freedieting.com and searched for the calculators.

healthdiscovery told me 122.5 lbs

shape told me 134-151lbs

and freedieting told me 128lbs

Right now Im at 219lbs, so ive got a lot to go.

Hmmmm thanks for the heads up about the links, now that I look at it, I think the website posted them with spaces so they didn't come up as direct links - they should work if you copy them into the address bar, then delete the spaces.  :)

From my averages...120 lbs, which is my goal!

Thank you! Those links were helpful for me! I wasn't sure if i was aiming too low!

Oh, wow.  My goal for a while had been about 115, but as of late I decided that just maintaining or losing a few pounds would be ok.  My results for each were

healthdiscovery - 120

shape - 117 to 124

freedieting - 120 to 124

Now I feel like a fatty at 128 (or about there.  I haven't weighed in a while).  Calculators I've used before, including the government's on MyPyramid, said I was in a healthy weight range, but I guess  not.  Frown  Now this makes me determined to get down to at least 120.
