On January 24th I was at 161 lbs, I am sitting at 162.5 today! eating healthy and exercising 5 days a week hard! I averaged 1652 calories per day in Jan and 1654 calories per day in Feb. My fiber is between 25-30 grams per day. Can I have some advice on what to do to kickstart my weightloss again? I have zigzagged, I have tried staying at around 1400 calories, I have lifted weights and ran.... nothing is working! Got any ideas? Natural ideas... no pills or starving please! I try to be healthy and limit processed foods.

Hey Jeunene,

Just real quick - do you think maybe you've gained some muscle? I TOTALLY understand where you are coming from, because I have been sitting on a weeble-wobble plateau (165-167) for six weeks now, but I HAVE upped my weight training, and my clothes are looser.

Maybe that's what's going on with you? Have you tracked your body fat % or measurements? That could be a good way to see if you are still "shrinking" even if the scale hasn't moved.

I am thinking it will drop off on it's own soon.  Muscle really does weigh more and if you are working out you are building muscle.  Give it another week.  Drink TONS of water and watch your salt...don't drop calories too low or your body will go into starvation mode and hoard calories and slow your metabolism.  Keep it up...you are doing it!
It is muscle weight, if you are eating properly and workingout on a regular basis you will be o.k. Try getting your bodyfat tested you will probably see that you are still making progress, women get too caught up with there weight, there main concern should be bodyfat % and how you feel about yourself and how your clothes are fitting. get tested evry four weeks and you can track your progress.
