I joined a gym over 2 months ago, and with the help of a PT got myselfa program together which he said needed to be done only 3 nights a week-4 at most! (Due to muscle fatigue etc). So religiously I have been going 3 nights a week to the program, 1 night at a step class, and also a fitness DVD for some of the other nights. I am not dieting, but interestingly (since joining this site, I have noticed) my calorie intake usually ranges from 800-1200 a day.
I weighed 130lbs at September and now I am 128lbs-WHAT!?!?! How have I only lost 2lbs? My workouts and DVD and classes I always work 110% at, proper sweating and putting my all into it, and I cant work out why!
I am 5"3 and trying to get to 110lbs-ish. Before anyone says "O ur weight is fine", its NOT really my weight thats a problem, its the damn thighs that are rediculously oversized compared to the rest of me!!

You stated that you are doing rigorous programs and we all know that muscle weights more than fat.
Yeah you make a very valid point actually, this has skipped my mind. I will give these calipers a go then, as the scales are TOTALLY depressing :(
Thanks for quick reply! :)
Muscle may weigh more than fat, but that's not the problem.
You are not eating enough.
Having been on this site for 2 months, surely somewhere you must have read that you need a minimum of 1200 calories a day without any kind of exercise. Your body is holding on to every calorie you are putting in it, and will continue to hold on to it until you start feeding it appropriately. You will also get more out of your workouts if you eat right.
I was waiting for someone to say that too!! I know techincally I do not eat enough, but thats not because I dont want to. I work really early in the morning, and I cant eat really early (tho I always make sure I DO have a bowl of cereal as breakfast is important!). Then I get half hour lunch, which I can barely eat my lunch in time (I am a real slow eater) and by the evening I am too tired to cook. I am just lazy really, thats my problem lol!
It doesn't matter if you're lazy. If you care enough about your health to make time for exercise, you can make time to eat properly! If you want to lose weight, you're going to have to eat more.
EAT WAY MORE FOOD! i can promise you this is the solution. you are starving yourself and your body is trying to tell you by holding on to anything it can to stay energized. if you eat more, you will lose weight. TRUST ME and everyone else on here.
OK then! I will aim to up my calorie intake then and with a bit of luck those thighs will thin out
Thanks for the advice all!

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
