I have never tried the "Idiot Proof Diet", but honestly, if you look around this site and use the tools provided, you will find many good tips on how to lose weight and keep it off!  In other words, not just "go on a diet" and then gain all the weight back when you go off the diet, but really learn how to make a lifestyle change in the way you eat, exercise, etc.   Sorry, I'm not much in the way of help, but good luck!

I remember reading about that before I ended up at CC+ (in fact, i might have found cc+ because i was looking for an explanation of how it works).

If it's what I am thinking of, it promises something like 14lbs in 11 days.

My opinion - don't bother. I'm a little annoyed that your doctor would recommend a quick fix diet that has to be a) mostly water weight b) easily gained back.

Slow and steady - figure out how many calories you burn, and how much you should eat to lose. In my opinion, that is going to be much more useful then spending a lot of money that, even if it gives you the promised results, won't be a lasting solution.

Sorry - I guess i wasn't much help either.

In my many years on this planet I have tried all different types of diets...the one that finally worked was Atkins...I lost 40lbs inless than 1 year ...I then decided that I don't want to leave out fruits and vegetables so much because even on matitenance you can only have between 60 & 80 grams of carbs per day. so now I follow the SouthBeach approach and I much happier.  The key is to take out processed white flour and refined sugars from you diet. Sugar is what makes you crave sugar.  Hope this helps some.
Ok lietee come clean. Your doctor didn't really tell you to go on that, did she/he
Haha - it's been so long - I didn't even recognize the troll... if you look at her other posts, they are all the same.  ah, good times.
