Calorieking.com says 110 calories for each one. (No butter or syrup.)
burliminator, I wouldn't even want to imagine but per www.ihop.com:
» Is nutritional information available?
IHOP offers a wide variety of food that should allow most people to choose a meal that suits their dietary needs. We do not maintain nutritional data on our food.
LMAO this is some what off from what you asked but DAMN I want some IHOP pancakes right now, we don't have IHOP in Canada, well at least not in Winnipeg and I really want to try it at least once.
On the topic of calories, id say eating pancakes can never be VERY healthy, but a few with some jam or something (no butter) or perhaps a low fat syrup or something, it can be a nice treat
Oh no, you guys have it wrong about pancakes being unhealthy.
A few weeks ago when I was moving, my dad and I went to IHOP for pancakes 20 minutes before move out and move in. Greatest decision we ever made. We had tons of energy and we were both surprised figuring the IHOP would come back to kill us during the move.
Not sure, but I do know that they have a section on the back of the menu that lists the dishes with about 600 calories. That means 2 things....1- everything else likely has more if 600 is the advertised healthy selection....2- if you just reserve 600 for that choice in your daily plan then feel free to go. Well, in moderation...pancakes are empty calories that will likely encourage you to actually eat more later on.
Maybe buy some of those frozen pancakes, enjoy 2 with a big side of better n' eggs?
whipped cream in the foods section on this site is likely just that. whipped cream, pure dairy, no additives.
"whipped cream" toppings like what they serve on their pancakes and french toast may or may not even be dairy products, but they are loaded with sugar.
I agree with the assessment that pancakes are more than 110 calories each. Similar chains list their nutritionals for single pancakes as much higher:
Bob Evans: One buttermilk hotcake = 318 calories
Dennys: 1/3 of a three pancake platter (without butter/syrup) = 220 calories
First Watch: 1/3 of three pancake meal (without butter/syrup) = 300 calories
Personally, I'd estimate a single pancake at a chain around 280 calories and call it a day. Having said that, there's NOTHING better after a night of drinking than a stack of pancakes. Mmmmm....
150 calories for cup of whipped cream? Hmmm, that's cause it's mostly counting air. Per CC:
