I am :) I'm further south than you though, I'm close to St. Louis, MO but on the Illinois (better) haha side of the river ;)
who say's it's the better side of st.louis?????  i don't think so!!!!!

I LIVE ON THE RIGHT SIDE. lol
i think that if you had to choose the illinois side is better.. but in
the end you're still near St. Louis so what does it matter????
Come up here where the air is clearer.. Chicago!  hahahaha j/k :)
naaaa, that's to close to the enemy.

CHICAGO CUB'S.

but i guess it's still more like germany then texas was. season wise.
BLASPHOMY!!!  How dare you defile the best baseball teams name by calling them the enemy!!! **spits in your direction**  :)

I actually have a mixed marriage for chicago. i'm a cubbies fan and adam's a sox fan.. it's very interesting during baseball season.. but we can both agree that the bears are the best football team EVER!!  :)
I really like Chicago and Northern Illinois in the summer, much better than here heat/humidity wise it seems.  We go up to lake michigan to camp in the summer and the air is definitely cleaner there :)

For years I lived right in St. Louis in a very cool area called "The Hill" which is like the little Italy section of the city :). It was right off of I44  It was fun, but the pollution was/is TERRIBLE, especially right off the highway like that.  I'm glad to be in the country now that's for sure.  There's days in St. Louis you can cut through the air with a chain saw, it's gross...

I live outside, well, to the north a little, off St. Louis. And since I hate summer anyway's the smog don't bother me, I stay in the house. lol

anything over 75 degree and I pass out. thank god for air conditioning. And the subject about the bear's. Hmmmm, I will do it the safe way. No comment, my lips are sealed, talk about it later, like never. lol
Hey!  I was born in Chicago and lived in Schaumburg/Roselle...does that count?
of course it counts!  :)
I was born and raised in Erie, Illinois and went to Northern Illinois University. I married an Alrington Heights boy, lived in downtown Chicago until I got pregnant with my first and we moved to Ketchum, Idaho. A lot of my family still lives in Illinois and I love to visit every chance I get. Illinois is great!
too cool!  i was just in dekalb yesterday taking a kid on an outting!!!  small world.. :)  Illinois is great isn't it?

I was born in Peoria, but have lived in Mississippi for most of my life.
I live just south of the wisconsin border in Lake county.   I am originally from WI and it has been tough getting used to illinois.
why has it been tough?  illinois is awesome and up in lake county it looks a bit like wisconsin.. :)
I live in Missouri but most of my relatives are in Illinois. For me the state line is a blurred one. LOL I remember when I was little I thought it was all one big state.
I'm from the north side of Chicago. Born and raised here!! Cubs rule here on the northside.

Lisa
ahhh.. another cubs fan!!!  :)  they do rule.. :)
I lived in Chicago, yes the actual city not a suburb, for 5 years, then moved to Villa Park, and now I go to NIU in DeKalb.
