I'M BACK!! Had my baby!! Beautiful girl!

Hey old community members and new. I've been gone for a long time. Don't know how much I will be on here but here I am now. I had my baby via c section :( January 12th. I've been on leave. Now I have to lose this ugly stomach. I've lost some but I'm starting to get discouraged. It's been 3 months already. I haven't done much exercising. Now I'm back to work and I hate being away from my baby for so many hours that I don't even bother going to the gym. Hopefully this weighted hula hoop that I bought last year will help. If only I would start to use it more. Hope you all can give me pointers. Vanessa I see that you are still on here. Aren't babies just grand?! Posting pics soon!

Damn I guess no one cares that I'm back. Oh well...Frown

Congrats on the baby! Hurry and get some pictures up! I need to see someone else's baby while I wait for mine lol. Good luck on the weightloss, I never did lose all mine :( it'll be different this time! (hopefully haha)

Congratulations, Nenewa. There was actually a post up about you a while ago. Vanessa was wondering if anyone had heard from you.

Can't wait to see the photos!

Was the c-section planned or "emergency"? I've had two so I'm just curious.

Congrats on the new baby girl, name?

Hope your recovery goes well Laughing

oh babies are just amazing!!!!  i'm sorry-  i haven't been on in a few days-  been a little nuts at work.  {{{{{HUGS}}}}  i had a c-section too.  14 hours of labor, induced, 10 days overdue, threw-up a gaziilion times from the drugs; sprung a fever, then doc says I stopped dilating and it was time for the c-section.  had her july 30th.

i can't get rid of my upper stomach.  i know it sounds strange-  my bottome gut is completely flat; but my upper stomach is a pooch!  and my hips are damn huge and i have an extra layer of cellulite on my thighs.  but i love my julia sooooo super much so i'm trying not to obsess over it.

how did you get through your c-section?  detail, dear!

WOW seems like everyone I know who just gave birth had similar experiences. Her name is Jaelyn Nashaye. I had a c section too for the same reasons. I labored for almost 17 hours and I didn't dilate past 7.5. My epi wore off and I had to get another one and I could feel those full blown contractions. After I sat at 7 cm for hours and could no longer take the pain I told them to go ahead and do a c section since they wanted to do it anyway. Seems a lot of people are having that experience!

I don't know why I can't get the pics on here. I'm no dummy with computers

Glad to hear you and little Jaelyn are doing well, congrats again.

I haven't even begun to lose my pooch. I'm concerned that I won't be able to and will have to one day get a tummy tuck. It's so flabby and wiggly. That's the part I hate about having to have a c section. I love Jaelyn soooooo much too. All I do is buy her dresses and little cute outfits!

Just remember that you had MAJOR abdominal surgery after being pregnant. I know firsthand that an unplanned c-section is MUCH more difficult to recover from than a planned c-section (I've had one of each). With an emergency/unplanned c-section it seems as though the doctors aren't as gentle as they could be.

I'm 6 months postpartum and haven't lost my pooch. It's definitely not big but it's more than I had pre-pregnancy. It takes time to lose it and whip those poor, cut up ab muscles back into shape. I still find myself getting extra sore if I do too much. You'll be able to lose the poochy tummy.

Little girl clothes are so cute and abundant! I have a harder time finding cute boy clothes that don't cost a fortune. Are you returning to work/school/pre-baby activity?
