I'm back and I'm starting again for the LAST TIME!
I joined this site 3 YEARS AGO!... I was 182 lbs that day and I had a goal of being 140.
Today I'm 182.5 lbs and I have a goal of 150.
I have been up and down a lot during that time, as high as 190 and as low as 165... check this thing out!

At any rate, I'm starting on a downward path for the last time even if it kills me. In the past I've always been derailed by travelling for work, stress eating from work, getting too involved with a girl to stick to my work out regimine etc. but none of that will matter anymore. I'm single and staying that way (I get fat when I get happy), I travel less for work, so no more excuses on missing m workouts or having to eat on the road all the time. And stress, well, I'm going to pick up a dumbell when I get stressed instead of a cheeseburger!
That's all, thanks for listening to my rant.
Hey there, good luck to you. The determination and motivation is within you. It is achievable. I can understand travel for work (my personal bugaboo, too little water and unable to have my fresh veggies on hand) but glad to hear the travel has lessened.
Put your health first and everything else will fall into place. Watch that stress level go down and your self-esteem and confidence soar!
Thanks for the pep talk. I hope to have a before and after picture as impressive as yours soon enough. I'm going shopping for my veggies tonight.
How tall are you?
I'm about 5'9-10 and i'm right around 185 trying to get down to 160 as well
Hah, if I was 5'10 I'd probably be happy with my weight. I'm 5'6" kinda stocky though so I can't imagine getting much less than 150.
Here is a saying from the Old Testament that I have translated into my motivation:
"Obedience is better than sacrifice, and to take heed is better than the fat of rams"....translation.....
To eat what, where, and when you know it is good for you is better than fixating on what you have to give up, and learning how to have discipline is better than any fatty food ever!
Hope it helps!
Kalena
