Im either losing or gaining, why?
So since 3/1 I have gone from 187 to 160 pounds (5'11). I did this eating on average 2600 calories a day (I do a lot of cardio and 4 strength training sessions a week). Being a male for some reason I have a strong aversion to dropping below 160. The problem is that I upped my caloric intake to an average of 2750 calories a day (an extra 1050 calories a week) and I am now gaining a half pound per week. My question is should I be concerned about this and revert back to 2600 calories a day and accept I may drop below 160 or is this just the weight of the extra fruit being digested in my body? Any input would be great.
Sorry but with the 2750 do you still have a daily deficit or have you picked that number but it matches your burn for the day?
Well if I lose a pound or more a week at 2600 calories a day I must assume that and 2750 a day I would average a 2450 caloric deficit a week.
