YO! I'm finally twenty-one!

So naturally I'm sitting here not knowing what to do with myself after all of the birthday festivities are over (for the most part) today.  There's still the drunken pumpkin carving we intend to get on with after dinner is done cooking,  but the salmon ain't goin' in the pan until the dumplings are done steaming.

My 21st birthday was lame because my birthday is on Christmas.  I had some wine with my family over our Christmas dinner.  This had been our tradition since I was 15 or so.  (I have a loose family, I suppose!)

So please have lots of fun, especially with the halloween festivities!

Oh my god megsambit! I'm almost the same. My birthday is on Christmas eve and every year my family has a tradition of getting together we'll have pizza, cake and ice cream. My cousin offered to take me to a bar, but then reconsidered it saying the bars would be so crowded on christmas eve. So a couple of days later, my cousin, my fiance', some other family members and I went to a bowling alley on a saturday night (blasting music, big screens with music videos playing, tons of lights in the dark. etc.) and there is a bar in there as well so my mother bought me my first drink and then my fiance' (who was 29 at the time.) bought me two! lmao.

I look twenty-five? :|  I've had a doctor ask me for my ID once because he thought I wasn't old enough to even touch his patient.  What sucked was he really wouldn't let me draw the blood until I went down, grabbed my wallet, and showed him my ID.

Security likes to stop me when I'm walking in, too.  "UH, VISITING HOURS ARE OVER."  Dude.. I work here.  "WE DONT HAVE OVERNIGHT VOLUNTEERS."  No, seriously, I work here.  "... Really?"  DO YOU NOT SEE THIS BADGE HANGING OFF OF ME!!?

I really did plan on spending my entire birthday sober but Alex couldn't resist taking his widdle baby alcohol shopping.  I've bee trying to drink this mai tai for about half an hour or so.  More than half of it is still in my glass.

I bet having him being 21 is nice, my boyfriend won't be 21 till march! MARCH. I have like 5 months of not going to the bar with him:( So I think I will just be drinking at like, applebees. where he can get in

My 21st birthday was pretty boring. I have the pleasure of it being on Valentines Day...ick. Me and a group of my friends just all went out to dinner and then to a bar.
