I'm 34 and I grew in height 1.5"?

Hey so I was at a gyno appt on Friday.  The nurse took checked my blood pressure, took my weight.  While I was on the scale she measured my height.  5'3.5".  I said, "What, I'm 5'2"?" She measured again.  I was bare foot.  I didn't have anything in my hair.  5'3.5" something's not right. So my entire adult life I've been short changing my height?  I guess I should believe it.  I guess I should change my stats on cc now?

Here's something I've noticed about my son: Recently, he's taken an interest in how he eats and is DEFINITELY more active. He used to slouch alot and now he "stands taller". Assuming you've gotten more muscular, maybe you're able to hold your core more erect lately and are making the most of your height? Just an idea... BTW, I wish I could grow, I'm 5-0!! LOL

I remember having a physical before entering highschool, and they took my height. At the time I was 5'1 1/2". Last year when I had another physical, I shrunk down to 5'1" even. lol That's a bummer! I don't even wanna know how much shorter I'll be when I'm 80. Surprised

get measured several other places

Hey, I had a similar experience over the weekend!  I thought I stopped growing at 5' 3.5" in 7th grade, but I just measured myself on Saturday (for fun), and stood a sure 5'4" and a bit!  I can think of two reasons: 1) that I used to carry 40 pounds of books on my back to and from school, and 2) since taking Pilates I've been standing up taller.  I've been so excited about this for the last three days, I've been telling everyone!
