Nah.  I think I was about twenty before mine started coming in.  Some people never get them at all.  Have you had x-rays lately?  Usually they can tell if you have teeth that just haven't come in yet.
Nope but there are a few things to think about
Mine never came through - the gums stayed on top but i had to get them taken out cos junk could have gotten in under and gone rotten.
But I knew they were in the right spot as I'd had problems with my gums earlier

If your teeth hurt, go to a dentist, if you keep them clean and they dont hurt, it's ok.

I'm 48 and don't have wisdom teeth never had them- when DDS took and xray when I was about 12 they said I don't have them at all they never formed.

My oldest daughter didn't have hers removed till she was over 20.  My 18 yo doesn't have them either

47 and mine never came in either

mine were removed when i was ~ 30 without ever breaking through.

Mine never came in, but I have a small mouth so I had them preemptively cut out before I lost my dental insurance.

I had mine out when I was 21.  They weren't through the gum yet, but they were eventually going to get there, and my dentist thought it would be best to have them removed before they caused crowding.  My older brother didn't have his out until he was 29.

They could be impacted (stuck under the gum) or they could just be slow coming through.  Some people never get them at all, but if you are worried its probably a good idea to get your dentist to take xrays next time you are there and they will be able to tell you for certain what is going on.  If you dont have them you are super lucky! Getting them out was sooo painful, i was sore for THREE weeks!

I'm 19 and I haven't gotten them in yet either.

Although a while back my dentist told me that my mouth wasn't big enough to accommodate them when they did come through, so I know I'll have to have them out at some point.

I'm 15 and I'm getting mine taken out Wednesday.

So I'm 19 and I can see mine coming in on the bottom, but they seem to have been in the same place for a while, like at least a few months I would say...do you guys think this is normal?  They seem to be coming in okay as far as I can tell.

Not really.  I'm 31 and mine haven't come out either.  I asked my dentist at my last check up (about a month ago) about them.  She said they were deeply impacted and unless they bothered me there was no reason to take them out.

I got mine out at sixteen. It hurt a bit, but it was interesting to get to try vicoden without breaking any laws. They healed fast, and everything was fine.

I didn't get mine out until my senior year of university... so I was 21. I waited until spring break in case the pain was bad getting them removed. I only had 3 out. Sometimes, like others have said, they don't form or just don't need to come out. I'd ask your dentist for a new x-ray (usually only one per year is covered with insurance in the States if that's where you are) and find out if you even have any.

It's not weird at all.

I'm 35 and there's no sign of mine.

At age 20, my wisdom teeth had not come in at all, and my dentist told me my mouth was too small for them and they would never come in.  He insisted I needed the surgery to have them removed.

Throughout the next decade, they slowly came in.  Now all 4 are fully in and not covered by the gums at all.  Not saying I will never have to have the surgery, but I would like to avoid it as long as possible!

I'm 20 and mine are just coming in now and WOW do they hurt!  I hope I don't have to get them removed :-/

I'm 21 and none of mine have come in or seem like they're GOING to come in. Fine by me :P

I'm 20 and mine are just developing now. My dentist says I have 3 that are very small, and 1 that didn't really develop. He says when they come in I'll probably not even need anesthetic to get them out :)

mine came in slowly in a period of over a year. I got them out when they started causing my pain, because they were pushing on my other teeth due to my small mouth (the bottom ones actually came in sideways because of this!)

so if they start hurting you I'd see your dentist.

edit: forgot to mention I was 22 when I got mine.
