I'm hiding my scale

Quote  |  Reply
My digital scale is driving me crazy... I can step on it and it will say 139 then step back on like 10 seconds later (after I get really excited) and get 150.  Depending on the reading, it can be very discouraging.  I am going to try to weigh myself once a week--this will be hard because I do it like 3 times a day!  Are all digital scales like this?

I personally threw my digital scale away.  I've changed batteries and everything, I get a different answer every time.

I now just use my analog scale.  It tends to be much more accurate.

I think I'm just going to pitch it.  I can't see the numbers well on my analog, but it does seem to be more consistent.

I had that problem when I had my Helth-o-meter scale I think it was.  Now I have a Taylor Lithium and it stays the same when I get on it a couple times in a row.  It seems pretty consistent to me :)
Ha same thing here I threw my scale in the dumpster about a month ago or so, same reason as tatjanaturtle, got different readings all the time and got obsessed with it.

Im with xwewhisper, I too have a Taylor Lithium, glass top.  I love it!   It always says the same thing.  I picked mine up from Walmart.  It was $30.00, but they have cheaper ones too, I just needed one that went over 300 lbs.

As far as weighing yourself too much... I was getting on my scale 3 times a day too...  I finally told my boyfriend to hide it.  He did, and he brings it out every Wednesday morning so I can weigh myself.  Every Wednesday night when I get home from work, its gone again.
