I'm looking for a food journal buddy, anyone interested?

I have a huge problem with emotional eating and boredom binging so I thought as a way of accountability, it would be great to have a food journal buddy.
We could post our food logs in our journals and our activity that day, write about anything we had problems with food wise, then comment on each others journals and offer support and advice on anything we could do better, or any ways that we could cut back the calories in our foods.
I was thinking if there were 3-5 people doing it, then it could get quite social and fun.

This is definitely something  need, but I rarely stick with this type of thing (take a chance on me if you wish). I will definitely try, though. I'll begin with posting what I ate today, although it's less than normal because it's a "fat" day. LOL.

Lol I know, I'm kind of flaky at things like this too but I think it would really help.

Count me in! I will add you guys as buddies and we can check on each other... I haven't had the greatest eating day today but I'll post all the same. Maybe posting in will make me eat better... well, there's a chance... lol.

just getting back into eating healthy had a month off. Really need something like this need to get me motivated.

Not sure about thye logistics of doing this...how would we do this as a group on CC?

I have the same exact problem and would love to join this group.. Accountability may actually make me behave.. how do we go about this?

Well I am adding everyone who signs up to this post (So far anyway) as buddies so that I can read all your journal posts and vice versa. Mine are all public anyway, but this way I can click on the "My Friend's Journals" tab and they will all come up in one go. So if you title a journal post something like "Food Diary" I will try to comment on it... I see a few of you have not yet created profiles or have any journal posts yet. Making a little bit of a profile would be a good way for us to start to get to know each other :)

Yip, Merylwhite1, you have it exactly right!
We'll just add each other as friends and we'll all start trying to post food logs in our journals every day so that everyone else can comment on them and give us encouragement.
It's a great way to get to know some of the members on here and make friends too.

Also if we list them our journal entries as "Food Dairy" like Meryl suggested, it'll make it easier too.

Laurenann00 - Nope, not too many. Last I checked, just meryl, Isami and I. Though I haven't been logging the last 10 days because I broke up with my ... well, now ex-parter I guess. And have been too over the place.

Just start logging your food diaries on your journals and add meryl, isami and i as friends. :)
