I'm looking for a new Scale

I wanted to know about scales.  I need a new one, and Just Bethy told me about one thats name started with a T. Does anyone know the one she spoke about?

Tanita would be the brand you're asking about. Several people here seem to have them and like them quite a bit. :)

anyone here that has one would you please let me know what you think of it?

I just bought a really nice Tanita yesterday, the Tanita BC 534 $100.00. It does your weight, Total body water %, Daily Calorie Intake, Body fat %, Bone mass, and Metabolic age. I love it!!! i got mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

I've got the plain model Tanita - weighs pounds only.  It's accurate and looks nice too, and it was a little over $30 with shipping charges. 

Does anyone know the most  it will weigh? My hubby is cutting back too.  He's around 275 to 295 + -, and I do know some scales have a wt. lim. of around 300.

I have the Tanita model that does weight/body fat %/ and water % and I think it's great! It was around $50 but I think it is well worth it!

I think it's great to be able to track body fat. If you gain lean muscle and lose fat your weight may not change and it will be nice to know that that is what happened. Also, it will track for 2 people.

So far this week I have lost 3lbs and 1.5% body fat!

This scale will go to 300lbs but they make more expensive models that will go above that.

i have the Tanita BF-681 scale plus body fat monitor.  got it at linens and things for  69.99.  very accurate.  love it.

I think I might get that one.  The body fat % would be a good thing to know.
