I'm 20 Getting married and really overweight.
Hey everyone,
I'm Regina I'm 20 and I'm getting married sometime in 2009. Our date keeps changing. Right now it's June 21 but it might change again casue that might be too close to graduation. Anyway! I want to loose 80 lbs so I can look good for my wedding and espically for the honeymoon. I was always kind of fat, but I gained a lot of weight in college, not only cause of the crappy food options, but cause I got engaged and I got too comfortable with myself because I know my fiance will love me either way. So anyone have simmilar feelings thoughts? I'm just looking to make some friends.

Hi there! Congratulations on your soon to be wedding!
I was with my ex for almost 5 years and I gained approximately 25-30 pounds. Now, I am going to loose this weight....soon I hope? I got comfortable with having a b.f. and what not...eating out and drinking too much soda. I want to loose this weight by the summer, which I am sure that I can do. It's so good to know that I am not alone.....
Good luck with your weight loss!

I know how ya feel! I gained about 20 lbs or so and didn't really care too much since I know my fiance says he loves me no matter what and I don't "need" to lose weight.
Like you, I want to look FABULOUS in my dress and for my honeymoon in Hawaii! Congrats on your engagement and good luckw ith setting a date. We're getting married 4/25/09, so we have time and so do you!
**Gwenabee22- I think I have your cat twin, check my gallery for my kitty! Does she have blue eyes too?
Hey!
I wish I'd seen this sooner. There is a great diet that works for everyone I know of. It's called the Rotation Diet. It's a 3 week diet and if you excercise while on the diet you're bound to lose 10 - 15 pounds in the three week. It's called the "rotation" diet because you're rotating the caloric intake from week to week so as to trick your metabolism into staying high while you're consuming fewer calories. It's very effective and the only times you'll be hungry are the first three days in the first and third week because you'll be eating only 600 calories.
Go to Amazon.com and type in Rotation Diet. It's a $7.00 - $8.00 book and it has a lot of fans. Read the reviews and see what people say about it. It's great if you have a short time to lose a lot of weight. I'm on it right now. It's been 5 days and I've lost about 6 pounds, though I haven't been working out because of some serious changes in my schedule.
I hope you give this diet a try and recommend it to others if you find that it works for you.
You just posted on a thread that was over a year and half old. You also violated the posting guidelines since your advice is unhealthy- we do not promote undereating, m'kay?
On the go andin the know.
