Hello everyone.  I'm Cat.  I am new to this site.  I just found it yesterday and fell in love. 

I have a goal that I need to maintain for roughly 3 months.  I figure at that time I will most likely not want to let my goal go and it will be much easier to maintain...What is the goal you ask?  I want to eat healthy and work out.  I am starting this goal for cosmetic purposes.  It's actually a little bet I have with my husband.  I'll get into that in a second.  My goal is this:

I must eat extremely healthy every single day.  I can have one cheat "meal" a week.  I am allowed to have a glass of red wine every night with dinner (I don't though).  I must drink mainly water.  I also need to exercise at least 3 times a week.  When I accomplish this goal my husband will pay for me to have laser hair removal so I don't have to shave again.  haha.  If I fail...I have to buy him surround sound.  I won't fail though, I've wanted laser hair removal for a loooooong time now.

I am one of those people who are easily bored and reassess my goals more than I need to.  I lack serious follow through.  I don't want to be that person anymore.  I am finally to the point where I want to be healthy and in shape.  I want to look tight and toned in a bikini.  I don't want to be self conscious about my tummy. 

Currently I am 26 years old,  5'4", 143.2 lbs.  At my heaviest I was 149 lbs (I refused to hit the 150 mark) and until last week when I started this little bet I was roughly 147.2.  I have lost 4 lbs since March 23rd, but I do realize that this could be just normal fluctuations on the day to day.  I really need advice on how to stay on track.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

All in all I would love to weigh about 125.  I think that would be a perfect weight for my height.  Really the number isn't as important as how I look and most importantly how I feel.

Hi Cat -we have similar goals and even though I am older than you I want to look great in a bikini this year-(I am turning 40 in the fall and want to look better than I have ever!) I am currently 142-5'6" and want to be 135, by end of May.

I am also a Realtor! (saw that in your profile) and I, too,get bored extremely easily...love your challenge with your husband-great idea. And so far this site has kept me from being bored....

Nice to meet you.  Yeah, I am pretty excited about this site.  I have been staying on top of updating everything.  I am hoping I can stick to it.  I think I will.  I really do want to look good this summer.  I go on vacation June 22nd so that gives me some time. 

From your little chart it looks like you are doing quite well on your goal.  That's great.  Where did you get that little thing anyways?  I see tons of people with them and I want one too.  Haha.
