Well congrats on wanting to get well. I'd caution you to stay off the scales, you will have some water weight and it freaks many people out. The weight might be fast to come on at first but quickly levels out. If you need support feel free to message me.

jojojinx you can do it, hang in there. We're similar heights and I can only imagine what you're going through and the physical toll this has taken on you. Keep working with your doctor for your health but just spend this time being good to yourself, resting, healing, eating, nourishing. You can do this - and there is a lot of good support here. Stay on the wagon, you can beat this!

Welcome to the weight gain forum. Glad to see more sufferers taking the next step to getting healthier and recovering from this horrible illness. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask and we will all try our best to give you the best answer possible.
Hey jojo, it's always great to see people here who have made that decision to recover. Luckily you are not alone - there are plenty of us here who have, or are going through, the same things. Recovery can be tough but it can also teach you a lot about yourself and how strong you are as a person. Most of all - it's worthwhile!
What helped me at the beginning was imagining myself well. Imagine a life where you don't think about food all the time; where you can eat when you are hungry; when you choose food by what appeals and what tastes good; where you have energy and motivation and are full of ideas, love and laughter. To begin with this life might seem hard to imagine. But that is what you are fighting for! Keep thinking about how much better it is to be well again and keep taking small steps forward every day.
Take care :)
