I'll be a buddy =] I'm 17 and about 160 lbs. Undecided I'm a big emotional eater too! After my mom got cancer, I gained a TON of weight back. I was about 130 then. So, this is my 4th day trying to lose weight, and so far so good =]

We can keep eachother motivated if you like! Cool I hope I can help as much as other people have helped me, so lemme know, okay?

Ty  i  need  a  buddy, im going to swim today  to  use as my exercise, i  have  lupus and  RA and its  hard  to exercise somedays.I then get  uspset  and  eat, havet  figured out how  to  not  do  thisFrown. But  it  is  a  new day   .......    BrattySmile

no prob hun =)

Swimming is always a great way to exercise, it works most all your muscles depending on what you're doing! I love to swim. I'm glad you have the confidence to go out to swim...cuz I sure don't. I think you're pretty great for deciding to lose weight with you having lumps and RA...that's really brave and noble!

What kinds of food do you eat when you're upset? When I'm upset, I go for the carbohydrates, like bread or pizza. I've eaten whole pizzas before, i'm sad to say. Its just an idea, but try switching out the food that you eat when your upset to healthy foods, (if they're not already). That worked for me for a little, then I started to binge on them, too. In a sense, binging on healthier foods is better for you, and doesn't give you as much guilt.

And you're right, every new day, is a new beginning. We just have to keep motivation, which is sometimes hard.

"people often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we reccomend it daily." Just a kinda weird quote of the day for me to pass to you =)

I am not trying to lose weight, but I have personally trained and helped many to lose weight and/or gain lean mass. Need some motivation, workout ideas, etc?  In any case, I'll be a friend if you will have me as such.

If youre ever feeling down or just want to talk let me know and send me a message. I love talking to new people. Truth be told I need some friends.

Omg  i  binge  on  McDonalds lol Double cheese burgers. kills  me and  my  pool  is in  my  back yard or  believe me, i  wouldnt  be  doing  the   swimming in  public.  ha  ha  oh  well  im  on  day  three and  no  binges.  yesssssssssssssss  How  r   u  doing  with  yours?

Would  love  to  be  your  friend,  im  hanging in  there and  always  need  new  friends.

I had a Krispy Kreme binge tonight.....but then I went running for another 30 minutes.....on top of the jogging I usually try and do so I don't feel as bad about it.

What  i would  give to be able to run again, maybe in time I'm in  this  for the long  haul this time.

Hello, today is my first day on the site and I would love to be your buddy. I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I lost over 30 pounds about 4 years ago and I have gained about 15 back in the past 6 months. I believe I'm an emotional eater as well. My office is relocating to Dallas which has made me a "Skittle" wreck. (Skittles are my food of choice...lol) They not only help in my weight gain but they are also ruing my teeth..double edged sword!

I'm 43 years old and only 4'10"/155lbs. The site says I should weight 96lbs for my build and height. I havent seen 96lbs in 20 years. But, I'm gonna give it the old college try....

Anyway, I would love to chat whenever you have time.
