I just had a beautiful baby boy in march and also have a 3 year old daughter so needless to say I have some baby weight to lose. I would like to get back down to 140lbs.
Should we do a weekly weigh-in together? I do mine on Fridays cause the weekend is my enemy!![]()
I have been back on track now for only about 1 week. I had fallen off the wagon and have decided to give it another try.

Since then, I've been consistently going to the gym and have even signed up with a trainer. It's frustrating sometimes-especially since I have little patience!!- so my problem spots sometimes get the best of my positive thinking, but overall, I'm loving the journey! I'm not going to lie--some days is quite the effort to track my calories or get to the gym. Baby steps I say...

Hi Crystal, I'm 34 years old, 5'5", and when I started 3 weeks ago I was 204. At my last weigh-in I was 198.5 and I weigh-in again in two days :)
When I started on here I posted asking for a buddy and now I have a few. I've LOVED having them to message when I am feeling down or needing support, or wanting someone to celebrate with. One of my buddies started 1 week after me and weighs exactly what I do. The other is 4 months in, and she's already lost over 30 pounds. They are both incredible women and I feel lucky to know them.

Welcome! Congrats on already losing 41 lbs! That's fantastic! Definitely an inspiration. Don't worry about it taking a long time because you didn't put on the weight overnight, right? Patience is definitely key in this journey.

Ok, well I would like to post my weigh in on Sunday also if thats ok. gimme time to walk off at least a pound!!
Day before yesterday was a bad day for me (feeling kinda blue) and I got into my sons ice cream and ontop of that I refused to do my daily walk! I guess I got kinda rebellious that day! yikes!!!
walked one hour last night, and gonna do the same tonight. it really helps me feel better.
I wanna post some pics, I know it always help me to SEE others results. but I am just so darn embarressed by my fatty pics!
I think I'll try and post some this week? .............. just thinking bout it makes me sweat!

Sorry to hear that it was tough recently. Don't feel bad! The good thing is that you have been still walking and that is half the battle (except for your blue day). We all have our days that we need a "break", even from dieting.
It may not always be easy, but maybe next time you feel blue, instead of reaching for the ice cream (trust me...it's so irresistibly yummy), why not journal? (online or in a notebook) That may help you sort through some thoughts and it will keep you from adding calories. I tell you from experience that it has helped me. Actually, just on Wed--I had a tough day at work and was supposed to go do at least 30 mins on the elliptical. Well, I had some vending machine cookies and was really stressed, so I skipped my workout all together. But I took a few moments to write on a piece of paper why I felt so out of control and stressed at that moment (and what led me to the cookies).
It may seem tedious (I know it gets on my nerves sometimes), but it has helped me see patterns and catch myself when I think that those cookies will make me feel better (because they don't in the end).
Anyway, I hope that you remember that it's ok and that the most important thing is to recognize, reconnect, and re-start once you can. ![]()
