I'm Lacey, age 23, and I JUST had a baby...
Every time I am ACTIVELY using calorie count, I lose 5-10 pounds in about a month or so. I just had a son 8 months ago, and sometimes I use that as an excuse (Oh, I JUST had a baby, its just leftover fat...) but its time to stop, because 8 months is no longer JUST. I got really motivated after having him, dropping about 60 pounds in 5 months. And then I stopped losing...and started gaining. I'm up 9 pounds since my first goal of a 60 pound loss was met.
My new goal is 5-10 pounds by Christmas time when I'll be meeting my new husband's extended family for the first time...and I really feel that if I can fit into a smaller jeans size they will like me better....because I will have the confidence to be my usual outgoing self. Because every time I gain weight, I start getting quieter and unhappier.
I'm an emotional eater.
I'm hoping that if I use the support part of this site (which I've never used before) it will help me get back into the swing of things...
