Im Stuck.

Quote  |  Reply
I am at 231 right now.  Just about at my goal of 220.  I work out every day, I have not changed my diet.  I have been stuck at this weight for 3 months.  I see changes in my body as far as definition which is nice and my waist is smaller, but I am wondering is this it?  Is this what my body wants me to stay at or is there anyway to loose that last 11 pounds???

You state that you work out every day and you are seeing changes in your body.... Well, there you go.  Your body may be readjusting the weight.  If you are lifting it is very possible that you are gaining muscle.  I would stick to a tape measure for now and forget the scales.  If you see you are not losing inches, start county calories.  Then zig zag... there are a lot of post on here about zig zag - it is where you eat more calories then decrease to normal.
I guess scales are usless at this point.  I am seeing a difference with the way I look and I feel great.  I guess I will keep doing what I am doing and my body will take care of itself.
I have a pretty set diet and excercise program too. But the plateu does happen. When it does I change things up a little. For like two days I"ll eat a little more then I normally do. Maybe indulge a little on the sweet things :) and then get right back to it. It seems like everytime I do that (which is probably once every 2 or 3 mo) it shocks my body back to weight loss! Either way keep working out! I know that I don't listen to it like I should but being healthy is more important, and you are doing that. :)
I always feel guilty if I stray from my healthy eating or from working out.  I Am down to a weight and my body looks good now and I am scared if I get away from it for a little while I will loose it.
