I'm so tired

Quote  |  Reply
I have been dieting and eating healthy, getting A's, almost two weeks. This is the 3rd day I have felt tired. I'm exercising but not overdoing. Maybe I need more meat? I'm 58. My calories are bouncing between 1,200 and 1,500. I was averaging an awesome 3,000. Also I haven't lost any weight yet.

sherry, it's possible you are going at it too hard. your daily deficit should be only about 500 to 1000 cals. have you used the tools to see what your daily expenditure is?

in your "analysis" you should look for about 25% protein. it doesn't have to come from meat, but lowfat chicken and turkey, tuna and other fish, cottage cheese, egg whites are all good sources of protein.

keep at it for awhile, you are sure to see results!

p.s. i'm 60, and reached my goal last august.
I think you are right I should gradually reduce the calories. It took 2 years of not smoking to get this heavy so I shouldn't expect to lose it in a month. That is wonderfull you made your goal weight!!! Thanks so much for writing!
