I'm having trouble losing anymore weight.

I'm 5'4" and weigh 112.  I'm happy with myself at 108, but can't seem to lose the 4 pounds.

Any tips or suggestions?

Oh, COME ON.

This is shameful.  You guys are seriously arguing with her and slamming her about her "unhealthy" habits, et cetera when all she wants to do is reach her goal weight.  What's wrong with that?  I see no evidence that she is eating unhealthily here, and I think she has a right to try and get to her goal weight because it is still in the healthy range.  So stop flaming her and get back to your lives.  I'm sorry that you have to take all of your anger out on a dieting website. :)

It's funny how everyone on here thinks that if you're not overweight and you want to lose a few pounds you have an eating disorder...

108 is still in the healthy range for my height. If I was looking to lose 10 or more pounds I could understand where you were coming from. I don't starve myself, and I eat plenty. It's summer, which equals beach weather...I just want to drop a few pounds. SHOOT ME!

i agree with this. i don't know how to help you, but i thought you could use something besides an attacking response.

i don't know what you want to hear, but the fact that you are already only eating 1200cal and excersizing and NOT losing should tell you something shouldn't it?

and fyi 1200cal + excersize, is basically starving yourself

many have had great results by eating back calories that the burn off through excersize.. i suggest you start eating enough and work on toning because right now you just appear to be getting frusterated and irritable...

we can only do so much to help you, and responding in attacks is not going to benefit you in any way besides making others become angered and refuse to give you advice.

"carmenxox" I sure hope you're kidding about the "responding in attacks" thing. That's just about all you have done to me. Lets not be a complete hypocrite or anything...geesh.  There was another post on here earlier from you, (that I guess you must have deleted?) that epitmized attacking someone.  I feel like you and that "healthybmi" character are completely reading into what I'm trying to accomplish wrong.

That's ok though, I appreciate the good advice I've gotten. I'm trying to eat less at night and work out more. I actually just bought a new pilates video that I'm pretty excited about!

So a thanks to everyone who has given me constructive advice, and thanks Okgo and Alex for the support!

Hi, it's the "healthybmi" character.  You would be amazed to know that on any typical day, carmen and I disagree on many subjects, but the bottom line is we both always agree in proper nutrition, exercise and a healthy way to achieve that.  We both have been very successful (in extreme polar opposite ways) in our journeys with health and wellness.

Your expectations are beyond unrealistic for yourself and your attitude, well, I refuse to even go there.

I'm sorry I even opened this thread. The negativity is overwhelming.

Anyway, jblarghp, this is what I'm doing: I lost the bulk of the weight that I wanted to lose a few weeks ago, but still want to shed about 5 lbs. So instead of keeping with a lower number of calories, I've gone to maintenance, and am now planning to cut my calories again. I think I've been maintaining for over a month now, which is longer than I had planned, but I'm not in a rush. I didn't gain any weight back, by the way.

So now I'm cutting again. In my mind, I'm back to day one when I first started cutting my calories, only starting from a lower weight.

Good luck.

Hey! where did the post where I owned "healthybmi" go???

That was my favorite.
