i'm wearing my skinny jeans right now
my motivation for starting my weight loss was to fit into these jeans again, that I wore at my lowest weight
well... i'm wearing them as I type this, and they are over my butt and zipped and buttoned up! however I do have a bit of a muffin top going on as they are a bit tight
it's weird though... i stil feel pretty fat, i need to lose another 20lbs i think before i can be comfortable with my weight
my condolences. skinny jeans suck; add "a bit of a muffin top", and they're tragic.
just buy some jeans that fit.
Congratulations on your weight loss...but buy jeans suited to your body - they will actually look better.
My skinny jeans are getting too big now, time for a shopping spree for size 3 Pacsun skinnies.
For some mreason I will always have a 'muffin' top becuase I have a cello body shape. But I think it's cute.
muffin top = they dont fit
once i started wearing low rise i never went back but i refuse to wear them if they give me muffin top
that just looks hoochy ESPECIALLY at 46
congratulations! Good job getting closer to you're goal!
to all the other posters: I think she meant her goal to fit into a pair of smaller sized jeans that she wore when she was skinny. I don't think she meant they were "skinny jeans" specifically. Plus I don't think she meant she was out rocking these pants. Way to tell her she's still big and should buy new jeans. Harsh.....
Congrats! That must feel great to be able to zip them up! I have a pair like that from pre-baby that are my goal. Can't wait to join you :)

No one called her big, she called herself big. And discussing muffin top =/= calling people portly.
And what difference does it make if it's skinny jeans or bell bottoms, we are dicussing pants we can fit into.
Congrats on getting into those jeans. That must feel great! I remember the day it happened to me, I have never been more proud of myself!
As far as losing 20 more lbs, well only you know what's right for you, but take it easy, you have accomplished a lot already by the sound of it, and should definitely enjoy your successes! You can clear accomplish whatever you put your mind to!
i experienced this exact thing last week!!
I had bought these bebe skinny jeans last summer ..and im pretty sure they didnt fit me when i bought them but i was determined to get them to fit me. all year during school me and my housemates would try them on ..super tight ugly muffin tops.
last week ..i tried them on ...and da daaaaa they fit!!!! Im still in denial, because i still feel large. 20 more pounds for me too until i think ill be comfortable :)
some of you are morons
obviously i meant I had these jeans when I was skinny and I have been using them to meet my goal
i'm not wearing them around like they fit, i was just trying them on and they fit for the first time
but on a sidenote, actual 'skinny jeans' are sexy and I wear them all the time
and to everyone else... thanks for the congrats and for applying basic reading and comprehension skills :)
This wasn't my reason for losing weight, but for some bizarre reason, I kept an old suit of mine around. It was a gift from an aunt back in 1992, when she was encouraging me to start my own business. Back then, it was from a top-end men's store, and I think I've had a number of cars since then that cost less than that suit did.
Turns out, after dropping my weight, that it fits me again, and I look pretty darn sharp in it! :) Even my daughter commented on it. Good thing it fits, cause the cheap one I've also got in my closet isn't going to fit ever again (if I have anything to say about it).
I also found a kilt from around that same time period that fits me again too... Ah, the weird things that have followed me around over the years.
And congrats on fitting into your jeans!
