I have an immense amount of respect for all of you.
I can't imagine how much self-discipline and strength it must take to overcome an eating disorder and gain weight.
Just wanted to say that.
And i just wanted to say...
*tear* Thank you so much. Your comment just made my day so much brighter.. it really turned it around.
God Bless
what a nice thing to say :)
weight gain is only a small part of it but definetly important for health...the healing of the mind is the most challenging thing....but its so possible for us all
I agree--very, very rarely do I find someone who can appreciate [even if not fully understand] just how difficult it is to overcome and eating disorder. Most "commonfolk" sneer, as though those are the loser types that need to gain weight, when it actually makes the process that much harder!
Thank you for your kind words and the encouragement that comes with them.
Thank you :')
That's the nicest thing I've ever heard someone say about an eating disorder. Thank you. I usually get hell everyday at school. People stare and whisper, give dirty looks. It's horrible, but now I'll just think of what you said every time that happens :)
Thank you for making this post. Many users on this forum are going through tough times now and they need encouragement.
I would also like to ADD to this post - WELL DONE all of you gainers, if you can face those challenges with your ED’S imagine everything else you can achieve!
Having a constant battle along with the REST of life’s daily struggles that every one deals with is NO easy burden to carry, and I wish people were less ignorant about it.
Every time you get down, remember how strong you are for choosing to resist the ED instead of choosing the easier option of giving in.
The very fact you are trying to fight against something that has taken over your mind proves you have strength, which is an attribute to be proud of!
It's a day when I've been brutally hard on myself, causing me to question my intentions - so this came like a ray of sunshine through a storm cloud. Thank you.
Thanks, I needed that =)
