i'm watching and i'm excited and all, but does anyone know what time the actual oath of office is?  i can't sit here for five hours....

In 40 minutes pg... 11am ET.  I'm watching at work (shhhhh).

I believe PE Obama takes the oath at noon, or shortly before.

I don't know about "Real" Americans, but smart Americans will just TiVO it so they can skip past the news commentary.

I have to work but they're talking about getting a feed on one of our outdated moniters right now...hopefully that will work...

I love how Bush got claps from about 5 people. 

I wouldn't be there no matter who was being inaugurated...whether I liked him or her or not.  Too cold, too crowded, and you can see better on TV anyway.  I had to work today but I have a little TV built in to my radio.  Won't work after the big switch off, but it works today.  I watched the events of 9/11 unfold on it too.

You go for the experience, not because you can see better. 

Stupid work making me miss it!  I'm so happy it's really happened :)
