Hi- could someone tell me how to "post a line to the team thread?", I am not so great at the computer stuff but am always learning new things.  Also how did some of you get you badge to your journal?

I've been working the challenges, but have to admit I haven't been able to wrap my brain around the bender, any hints?

I also am NOT so good with the computer...I asked the same question....

Here's what I got...Garnet77 gave me perfect instructions:

Click the link (to get your badge), when you get to the site, click your name tag, they look better that way.  Save it to your computer (right Click)

Now come back to C C and go to pictures ( at the top of the page by tool and profile)

Click upload...Just remember to set it as your default picture if that is where you want it.
Diana- and to post a line to the team thread, is just what you did. Its when you post a message here- in our team thread. It takes a bit to catch up with the lingo sometimes, but you'll pick it up quick.

Luna- Your quick too. Im feeling like such a slacker. I will try to get caught up today but it looks like a have a super busy ahead of me. AHHHHH. THe official due date for everything is next tuesday but it's awesome if you can get it done sooner.

Is it Friday yet??

Edit: I'm going to leave a note in the missing team members journals....hopefully we will get a response.
Hello, sorry, it has taken me so long, I am here. I am a bit confused though, where do I go to get the challenges and then where do I post my results, answers at? I am sometimes not that savoy.....sorry, But I am super excited to be on the team and to get going with everything.

Go to the first page of this post and on #4, Lindsay has added a link to what you need to do....we have all pretty much posted it to our journals....

We have also got patches for our Profile pages. If you go to the 1st thread, where you signed up--there is a place to link to it...I am NOT very computer savvy either...but somewhere on that post tells you how to get the patch to your profile...LOOK for ME...because I am the one asking how to do it...the instructions are perfect....

Any other questions, we will all help you!

Laurie no worries....all those emails made me feel super popular when I looked at the number in my inbox. lol. Glad you got the hang of it. The best way to learn is to try it out! I will be your guinea pig anyday.

Thinsky....so glad you found us. woohooo. I will also send you a speadsheet that will help you track your points. I just need your email address...you can either post it here or send me an email to lindsay_argier@hotmail.com. Other then that we will help you out as much as possible with any questions that you might have.
Hi, me again needing more help. Do I enter my info in the spreadsheet? If so, iits protected and won't let me unprotect it without a password. Or do I just enter the stuff in my journal, or what exactly? Sorry I have so many questions. I'll get it eventually.
That?s weird about the protection. I am going to try and e-mail you the sheet again. I double checked and it doesn?t seem to be protected in anyway. Very strange indeed.

As for the challenge?post the responses in your journal if your comfortable with that and then use the spreadsheet to tally the points. You?ll notice its gives you the points automatically.

I actually couldn't open the spreadsheet because we don't have Excel on our computer (doh)...... is there an alternate way I can send you my points that isn't on that spreadsheet?

That brain bender is definitely bending my brain... I keep thinking vowels are missing or something :-/
It's funny I know that answer...but to give a clue, I don't know how to.  Because I can't figure out how I would get the answer, if I didn't know the answer. 

But puzzles are not my thing.  I had my hubby look at it last night to see if I could try to give a clue out...but he couldn't figure it out.

What if I was to give you a couple of the words?

Just a Brain Bender Hint!  Supersized & JayD nailed the technique when they said...

Yup, I just used my own logs. You can log all the food information in tomorrow's food and activity logs, this will give you a blank slate to be able to figure out the calorie deficit.

Also you can go into your tools menu and choose BMI and just quickly edit your own settings (not hard to put them back they're put back automatically from your profile's default settings).

Sorry if this gives everyone a leg up, but I figure this is really about sharing. And, not making life difficult for our beloved Erik and Igor.

 you don't have to worry about your weight log because you can go back and edit your entries for the day. :)
Heads up about Week 1!  

Part 4 has been significantly edited for clarity. No one has to go back at all, but can if you want. We simply want people to start where they are and go from there!   

The deadline for week 1 has been extended for everyone until Wed, 9/20.

hey, team leaders. I've got everything but the measurements--I've been really bloated the past few days (TTOM), so I'm waiting for the bloating-ness to go away before taking my first new measurements!
Xuraiya-Way to go on finishing everything up. I still have to do my measurements too. That will be this weekend for me as well.

In other news-I got an email from someone named Gail last night asking if she could be on the team. I told her of course and to post to the team thread so everyone could get to know her. Hopefully she will do so. My fingers are crossed.
