Hi Friends :)

About the old challenges!  Do them as you can and turn your points in when you can.  You can catch up!  It's not a problem :)

Most of the parts don't change much week to week.  Just the brain bender, the links part and the motivation statement.  Also 2 people each week submit recipes.

The exercise, goals, thinking about how you eat, thinking about new foods.  These things don't change.  We just give you some stuff to read, if you want.  You get points just for thinking about the stuff, in your head or on paper or whereever... You can read the blurb and think about the stuff on a break and you get the points...  No big deal... Seriously... read it and that's fine or do more, it's up to you.

It's meant to be fun, a bit inspirational and a bit thought provoking!

So... Phoenix & Thinsky ~ catch up as you can.  Take a few parts a day and don't fret!   It's not meant to be like school or work ;)
Hi guys!! I just wanted to check in since I have been so silent lately. The internet was down at work for a week and that is where I do most my posting. =( They say its supposed to be back up this Monday. We will see....

I have a birthday party to go to today but I will catch up on things this weekend.

I am kinda confused on two things: where are we supposed to post answers to the challenges? Here or the other thread? Also, are we on the second challenge? I keep seeing things for Week 3 and I am confused to where week 2 went???? I have only done the first one. =(

I am down 10 lbs since I started on my birthday - August 25th. =D

You're supposed to post the answers to the challenges in your journal for parts 1-3, I think, but you don't have to.

I put up 2 recipes for part 4 you guys... what do you think? I put them on the other thread, but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to post them here and then have everyone post their recipes and we talk about which recipe we want to enter?

HI!  We are on week 3 BUT you can still post you answers for weeks 1 & 2....

For week 2 you need to post a motivational statement on the other thread, plus 2 of us need to write a recipe...Nicole and I did last week.  Xuraiya has put in two recipes for this week...I am not sure if we have to have recipes from 2 team members or not?  Anyway, I hope that helps some...here are the links for week 3, plus weeks 1 and 2....

Goodmorning everybody-

I just want to do a roll call. We need to determine who is actually still playing the game. I havent received week 2 points from everyone as yet so I just want to see who is still around and playing even if the points are not done.

Please post here if your still playing and where you are in the game at this point. It will really help me sort everything out. Thanks so much.

Nicole how many words have you found?  I have 19 and can't find anymore....
I was just looking at what needs to be done for week 3....I know that Xuraiya has submitted 2 recipes, do we need to have another from another team mate?

Also we will need to check out "our" motivational statements and see which one we like best because then we will submit it for everyone to see which team has the best. 

That also has to be done for our Super Food Links.

...should we all just pick the ones we like and then which every one gets the most votes... put it in?
I have 19 as well, and a couple of them I feel are accidental words... hmmmmmm but yeah, I'm pretty much stuck right now.
well, as far as voting for "our" motivational statement goes, I'm not Christian, so the one about going to hell doesn't really seem like something I could really embrace wholly.
I'm not Christian either--at all; in fact, I am atheist.

It's also a quote from an atheist band.

Heaven and Hell are not literal terms--they are figurative to show personal utopia versus a horrible experience depending on if you follow your dreams and goals, or not.

Im not gonna be around so much again cause of training but I will try and check in. I miss this. Hoep everyone is doin well. Try not to have too much fun without me :)
WHEEEW! I have done most of week one (I still have to take my measurements if only I can remember where I put my tape! darn moving!) and I am done with week 2.  Do I post my answers in my journal or do I send it to someone?
*peep* ~ the recipes can be done by anyone.  Really, it's a chance to use the new recipe tool here on c-c and the people who do recipes will be eligible for bonus points later in the game. 

The challenge is more about your own journey, your own goals and your meal and exercise plans... so the points are just an extra thing anyway.  We hope you find the challenge fun, a little inspirational and a little thought provoking. 

So, it really is fine for xuraiya to post to recipes this week unless someone else would like to also... in which case we need to know which one xuraiya wants us to use for the competition.

I have a recipe if anyone needs one.  It's not the hardest to do but it is good and low in calories, fat and good protein.
