injured again, haven't exercised in two weeks...

and somehow I've lost four pounds? I'm confused! I was stuck at 130 lbs for the past 4 months,no amount of exercise or calorie cycling seemed to help.

Last month I switched from using an elliptical for half an hour to running on a treadmill at 6 mph for half an hour. I absolutely hated it, but I started to get better at running and was quite proud of myself until I injured my ankle two weeks ago during finals.

Since then, I have been sitting at home doing little more than moping around in a cast consuming 2000 calories daily out of sheer boredom. I normally only consume 1400 calories on days without exercise, 1800 on days with it. I am only 5'5" and 127 lbs, I couldn't have been underestimating my caloric needs that badly...?

muscle loss?

metabolism kick?

I'm hoping muscle loss doesn't occur this quickly Cry but I suppose that's a possibility. What really throws me for a loop is that two days ago I had 3500 delicious calories at LongHorn and expected a nasty setback, or at least some bloating. If anything, my clothes fit better.

You just broke a plateau, that's all.

Your body was so used to your old routine, that it knew exactly what to do with the food that you were giving it.

You basically just shocked your metabolism by doing something different, is all. x3
