injury

I recently injured both my feet and I am barely able to walk. I love exercising but can't really move; is there anything I can do that wouldn't hurt my feet and I would still be getting a good work-out? Also, because of this I am burning far less calories, how much should I be eating since I am now barely active?

you can do all kinds of arm exercises, with or without weights, and perhaps some modified push-ups, (from the knees), sit-ups, leg lifts, and perhaps others. do you have a good floor mat? it might be worth getting one. then you'll think of lots of things you can do!

(edit): check out some other "fitness" posts for more ideas....

Good luck, and i hope they get better soon!
Elin had some great ideas! weights are an awesome way. Do bicycles- everybody remembers those, lay on your back and bicycle your legs! This is a great way to give your legs a workout without walking. Throw in some crunches and work your abs too
I don't know if you have casts on your feet or anything, but whenever injury is an issue swimming's a good option. You can burn an amazing amount of calories just by treading water or doing laps. You don't even have to kick much - just use your arms.

Thanks so much everyone for your help! I am going to start swimming and see how that goes.
I agree, swimming is probably your best bet to recovery as well as weight loss. There just isn't any harsh pulling/pushing/impact, and almost anything you do is sort of in slow motion. You should also make sure you do some careful stretching to maintain your flexibility.
