I would like a form generated to add foods to the site which are not currently in the data base.  I live in Japan, and I can't find many of the foods used in daily cooking.  It is not possible to switch my family to western based menus.

I envision a form that will look like the FOOD DETAILS Nutrition Facts information.  Much of the information for foods are printed on the packaging, and when not printed, it is usually possible to find the information in Japanese nutrition books or Japanese internet sites.

If necessary, you can make it available to all or to the individual who added the entry to the data base.  If it is made available to all, you might add a disclamer as to the veracity of the information.

I am impressed by the CC site and have gotten some of my students of English (I have an English school in Japan) to join me in challenging ourselves to reach our goals.  Thank you.

It's on your Food Log page.  Click on "Add it Here" on the right side.  This item will not be searchable.  Be sure to tag it once it's logged, so that you can go back to it in your Tagged Items list when you need it again

Thank you so much for your rapid response.  I really appreciate it.
