How to insert Images in main forum post?

In a weight loss challenge forum post, I'm trying to insert a jpg image from Photobucket of an Excel spreadsheet reporting the roster but all I can do is get a link to that picture to stay in tact.

Are we not allowed to post pics in forum posts?

Images, as far as I know, cannot be posted in the forums. You can always load them into your gallery and point people there.

I'm actually glad of this, since I know several forums that are impossible to get through because each post has a page-worth of pics in people's signatures that you have to scroll past.
