Interesting Situation Just Happened

Quote  |  Reply
OK...Had to share this one.  On Saturday night, my husband and I went out for dinner.  Afterward, he got really playful and took my jeans and put them on.  NOW, I didn't even think about this, but I grabbed his and put them on.  Get this....they FIT!  Now, he's a small, little thing with a 28/29 waist.  I just couldn't believe his jeans fit me.  It was sooo fun!  Just had to share.

That made me smile. Better jean swapping then other things I guess. LOL. Cute.
LOL
hey...m3lody...we've swamped those too....but since this is a family site, we'll just leave it at that!
I can get my hubby's jeans on.....just can't breathe afterwards.  You know I had to go try on a pair after reading your posting.
i am so glad you guys are posting this.. my hubby has a slightly bigger waist than me (he measured this morning after i did hehe) but he wears his pants under the belly roll (like so many other guys do!) and so he can get away with smaller pants.. there's no way i could fit into his pants right now!  i was/am so embarassed at that (women are supposed to be smaller than men don't you know!) but now i'm glad to hear i'm not alone!  :)

oh and neeners:  good job!  :)
adding to my list of goals!  How fun ~ lol
what i've noticed w/ me and hubby is that since we met (6 years ago), we've inversed our pants sizes.  when we met, he was skinny, size 30 or 32.  *I* was 38 in men's (which i wore, b/c it was a lot easier to find stuff that fit me).  the past year or two, i've donated my old pants to him (he's a 36 now, thanks to my good cooking) because i'm wearing a size 10 and look ridiculous in my old pants.  and i've swiped some old shorts and pants of his to wear to work (restaurant managing can be dirrrrrrrty!). what a trip!
obsidyan.....I always felt men should be bigger than women too.  When I married a skinny-minnie, I began to worry about whether I was good enough for him.  He's sooooo sweet.  He keeps telling me he thinks I look really hot, but he thought I looked really hot when I weighed 35 pounds more too.  And, I know he's not just patronizing me.  He really loves me.  That's cool.  Now that I'm able to wear his pants, it's kind of fun.

united...you'll make it!  I did and couldn't believe it!

nivrush....I totally agree about the restaurant thing.  I have a brother-in-law who's a gourmet chef.  We're invited for dinner a lot.  I love it....and now that he knows I'm really health conscious, he's making all kinds of low-fat stuff.  It's great.  But, before, you could really go nuts cooking.  You two should get together and start a gym instead of a restaurant!!!
neeners- something that's been plaguing me lately is my love of cooking vs. my desire to be healthy.  i have many wonderful low-fat recipes, and it's been pretty easy coming up with stuff that fit into my eating...patterns.  but i have just as many super-yummy rich recipes that i'm dying to try or make again.  it's torture, b/c i really want to try those other recipes, but then i feel anxious about eating stuff like that.  i know, portion control, but i'm really bad about it when it comes to rich food - it goes out the window.  i've thought about maybe trying out a yummy recipe once a month.  oh the agony =).  but yeah, a gym w/ a healthy cafe would be AWESOME.  i want to open a restaurant so bad and just don't know how to start.
