Interesting weight distrubution?

All right, so I've been gaining for about two months now and I'm up ~15lbs(haven't weighed in yet this week). I'm 5'9" and 113, and just this week my boobs have gotten huge!! Its not TTM either. I went from not fitting in an A cup(too small) to a full C...basically overnight. They're a lot perkier too(sorry if its tmi) I was barely even this big when I was almost 50lbs heavier. The thing is, they are SO SORE. :/ I was a late bloomer, so maybe its just because I was underweight when I should have been developing and now that I have body fat they're catching up?(I'm 18 btw) I'm just kind of baffled by this, and weight gain is scary enough already. I've always sort of had this fear of my body/actually having a womanly figure :/ so this is kind of strange for me. Did this happen to anyone else?!

I also have noticed a change in my breast size in a short amount of time. Boobs are basically just fat, so maybe that's why? I remember a friend of mine who went through ED before me and is now at her goal weight, told me that the first thing to grow was her boobs!!! But hey, I'm not complaining. Mine are still small at the moment (I was never very large), but are pretty much as big as they were pre-ED even though I am still over 10 pounds from my goal weight. I'll cross my fingers for more growth in that area haha.

Just try to learn to embrace this new womanhood!

Oh girl, aren't you the lucky one?! (Though I can relate to the fears of inhabiting a "womanly" body). Seriously though, if so much of your weight has been transferred to your bazoombies, you're the envy of approximately 98% or so of the female population :) - and not only that, but they're perky to boot! Now the soreness erm, it sounds, rather hormonal... As in... Potentially Mr. Monthly on its way? Though I just realised you said it's not TTM. There is also a chance it could just be a little pain due to the sudden "growth spurt" in this region.

Personally, my gains seem to have distributed pretty evenly, though tend to be more pronounced on my upper arms, thighs, hips and bottom. Also a little round tummy (which looked pregnant initially) but has since settled down. And yes, some increased boobage - though I haven't jumped 2 cup sizes.

Now please try not to be too scared - you do still need to continue with the gaining - your BMI is still much too low. But so much love and congratulations for getting this far! Really - you are doing just wonderfully. You're a lovely chicka - and I can see from your pics that while still very slim, you're already looking much healthier *hugs*

My gains are very pronounced in my stomach and in the past too when I have refed. I think people just tend to gain more in different areas but I heard after a year of being stable it really balances out. I would love boobs and am still hoping for them though pre ed I was small breasted but was 16 and now 30 so who knows. I understand you fears trust me as I feel very uncomfortable but I try to think of it like puberty and though I am old now still it is weird watching and feeling ones body change but I thik with time one will get used to it. I agree that many women around period time do get tender breasts. I hate to throw this out but are you sexually active? Ladies just remember you can be very underweight and stil get pregnant. I was ip with a girl who got pregnant at like 90 pounds. Hang in there and be proud of how far you have come but keep moving fowards

Coco- thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one. And I'm definitely not complaining either. I DO feel more womanly, and my boyfriend is very happy with the change(tmi?) I feel like it's his payback for having to deal with me and all my ED crap, haha.

Nina- You're such a doll! I really appreciate all your positive comments, they really mean more than you know :) I just saw some pics that were taken of me yesterday, and I didn't realize how disproportionate I look! I look like a bug LOL. my arms and legs are so long and tiny, and my midsection looks huge. I am hoping everything distributes eventually =/ though pre-ED I always had pretty tiny legs/arms. Again, thank you so much for the encouragement<3333333

Abbi- It takes a year to balance out? =/ that is sort of discouraging, ugh. It is good to think of it as puberty; kind of a metamorphosis. And I was worrying about the preggerz thing too =/ I'm on the nuvaring, so I don't get my period for 3 months(I just switch to a new ring every four weeks; after three months i take a week off). So I don't know =/ The last time I had a period was months ago, and all mine were hormonally induced when I was at a low weight/super light. Maybe I should take a test when I get home from vacation?

dude so like two or three weeks ago (maybe even more, i lose track of time),i started eating like close to 3000 a day. My boobs got so big. Like in a couple of days they grew like 4 inches. I used to be quite chesty when i was overweight but they went byebye when i was underweight. But for you, it may also be genetics. My moms boobs are HUGE. The balancing out differs for everyone, i hate how oblivious that is. Maybe the whole disproportion body you think you have is not real. You are recovering so there is still some bad juju happening on in that brain of urs. But if it is real then hey im sorry but youre just like the rest of us. There are only a select few who are actually proportioned. But its normal to ur midsection looking big, same thing with me right now. I just keep reminding myself that its normal and to keep eating and it takes (here it comes, that awful word) time.

oh, you're sooo lucky! so far i've gained about 20 lbs and i have about 15-20 more to go. i'm bigger all over, obviously from that much weight, but it LOOKS like it's all on my stomach! it's a little better now, but at first my mom said i looked like a pregnant skeleton! (lol, as a joke.) but it's okay. i go to group therapy with girls who are further along than me and they say it only takes a couple of months for the weight to redistribute. don't worry, and congrats! Wink
