Because I found new surveys lacking on the boards the past few days

So what is your favorite dish in the following catergories:

Italian: pretty much anything

Mexican: Huevos Rancheros

Chinese: never had authentic Chinese food... American takeout is a joke

Japanese: Ramen

Thai: some curry and tofu dish I had but I forget the name

French: bread haha

Indian: anything and everything... it's my favorite cuisine

Spanish: never had

American: What is American cuisine?

English: yorkshire pudding... horrendously unhealthy though

Greek: salads

Italian: Lasagne!

Mexican: Tacos

Chinese: Crispy Chilli Beef & Egg Friend Rice

Japanese: Chicken Katsu Curry

Thai: Eurghh I hate Thai food, every time i've eaten it i've got food poisoning

French: Ratatouille

Indian: Chicken Korma!

Morrocan: I've only ever had morrocan lamb meatballs. Way too sweet

American: Burgers i guess

English: Roast Dinner

Greek: Lemon Chicken or Keftedes

Italian: A simple pasta dish with sauteed or roasted vegetables and fresh herbed marinara sauce. And of course - garlic bread with parmesean.

Mexican: TOUGHIE! Everything; especially when it's smothered in salsa. I love enchiladas, tacos, ceviche, fajitas, burritos, and more...

Chinese: Stir-fry with lots of different veggies, tofu, and brown rice. I used to love General Tso's chicken (not REAL Chinese) and deep-fried orange chicken.

Japanese: Teppenyaki chicken and shrimp; I also really love teppenyaki veggies and fried rice too, even though it's probobly awful for you.

Thai: Pad Thai - heheh, not kidding. I also love red coconut curry and several other dishes. Gotta love the fish sauce...Mmmm... nice fermented fish, aged for 10 years. I actually watched them make it on Jeff Corwin's new Food Network show.

French: Ratatouille and fresh baked french bread. I also like pastries.

Indian: Mattar Panner, tandoori chicken, fresh naan, basmati rice with peas and cumin seeds, chicken tikka masala...

Morrocan: Chickpea stew served over couscous.

American: Nothing. I hate the "fast food" world that America has become. I suppose my non-fast food favorite would be meatloaf though, but I really only like turkey meatloaf... I really hate the taste of beef.

English: Scones. ^^

Greek: EVERYTHING! I love Greek food. Pita breads, falafel, feta cheese, Greek olive oil, tabbuleh, gyros...

Italian: Ravioli, mmm. It's like opening mini gifts and seeing what's inside!

Mexican: Black beans and rice!

Chinese: Fried rice is so good.

Japanese: Sushi rolls of course!

Thai: Curry tofu w/ vegetables

French: Dessert crepes. Savory are great too.

Indian: Navrattan Korma w/ peas and carrots

Morrocan: Never really had much, but I love couscous.

American: BBQ sauce on _______.

English: Tea and biscuits! So quaint.

Greek: Pita bread.

Finally select a country whose cuisine you like but may not be that popular in American dining: African food is SO GOOD. Collard greens with peanut sauce, mung beans stewed w/ garlic and tomatoes and African samosas are a few of my favs.

Italian: Gnocchi + Marinara Sauce

Mexican: Tamales

Chinese: Har Gow, Siu Mai, Nian Gao, Cha Siu Bao, Jook... basically anything you can get at dim sum :)

Japanese: Taykoyaki or Okinomiyaki (with extra bonito flakes!!!)

Thai: Thai Green Curry with Lamb

French: Any french breakfast sweet... french maccaroons are da bomb!

Indian: Vegetable Pakoras

Morrocan: Pastilla

American: Good ol' southern cornmeal spoon bread

English: Bangers and Mash

Greek: For a meal... anything with lamb (my all-time favorite meat) and for dessert ... Baklava

Malaysian/Singaporean: Rendang or Laksa

Italian: Lasagna!  Mmmmmmmmm my favorite..but I don't eat it anymore :(

Mexican: I do like the authentic tacos and quesadillas..not stupid Taco Bell stuff. Yet again I don't eat it. :/

Chinese: Yuck!!!!!!  But I would eat only the healthy stuff they really eat, steamed veggies, etc.

Japanese: Miso soup

Thai: Never tried it but...satay.

French: Nicoise salad.

Indian: Eww.

Morrocan: Couscous marrakesh.

American: a nice hamburger...but I don't eat beef anymore, so maybe a chicken burger w/o the buns.

English: not sure..chicken n veggies?  idk.

Greek:  Chicken w/ okra

Finally select a country whose cuisine you like but may not be that popular in American dining: Um, I like some jewish kosher foods and also some spanish foods even though it is popular.  Oh and peruvian food is yum.

Mexican: none

Chinese: cashew chicken?

Japanese: sashimi or eel roll

Thai: coconut curry

French: foie gras

Indian: none

Morrocan: havne't tried

American: NONE

English: eggs in a basket

Greek: lamb gyros

Italian: Sicilian caponata, mushroom risotto

Mexican: chicken fajitas

Chinese: salted egg yolk crab, steamed buns

Japanese: miso soup, tuna sashimi

Thai: pad thai, tom yam gam, river prawn soup

French: duck liver pate, terrines, tarte au citron, unpasteurised cheeses

Indian: palak paneer, dhal, Bengali mishti

Morrocan: falafel

American: I don't know any classic American food that appeals... it all looks pretty gross...

English: cockles, apple crumble, summer pudding, syllabubs, fools, trifles, treacle tart, game birds like pheasant, duck and pigeon

Greek: salted cod, cabbage rolls

I'm not American but some of my favourite cuisines are Vietnamese, Spanish, REAL Chinese, REAL British, REAL Indian, Korean and Singaporean

I really should experiment more with food

Italian: gelato

Mexican: burrito with cheese, sour cream, avocado, black beans, rice, salsa, spinach, and tomato.

Chinese: veggie stir fry (water chestnuts, sugar snap peas, carrots, baby corn, and bamboo shoots) with fried tofu and soy sauce.

Japanese: red bean paste. just plain, lol!

Thai: thai tea. omg. it's super concentrated black tea with spices and a ton o milk and sugar, basically. :)

French: crepes with fruit, maybe?

Indian: rose water balls, mango pudding, or spinach dip with fresh naan.

Morrocan: ?

American: jello

English: english breakfast tea with milk and honey

Greek: greek yogurt, no question!

 

 

Italian:  A GOOD sausage pizza or lasagna with lots of meat sauce

Mexican:  A good bean and cheese burrito

Chinese:  Orange chicken or sweet and sour pork

Japanese:  Don't care for it

Thai:  Don't know name, but it's sticky, sweet rice wrapped around shredded chicken

French:  Crepes

Indian:  Don't know

Morrocan:  Don't know

American:  A great cheeseburger

English:  Fish and chips

Greek:  Don't like Greek food

Italian: pizza con proscioutto, salami, y funghi OR Spaghetti alla Bolognese

Chinese: Americanized Beef and Broccoli

French: When I went to france we ate Italian. But we did have crepes...?

Indian: Never had it. Ive made curry chicken and rice before though.

Moroccan: Chicken dish with chickpeas, zucchini, tomatoes, cinnamon, cumin.

American: Pot Roast and potatoes

English: Roast. Tea. Haha.

Greek: Gyros. Salad.

German! Schnitzel, Bratwurst, and warm potato salad!
