Internet Keeps Hanging...but only on CC

Hey

Dunno if you can help me, but basically my Internet keeps freezing on CC pages...I'm usually able to go through about two pages of the site, browsing the forums or adding to my food log, before the browser just freezes completely.

Any ideas what the problem might be or how to fix it? Considering it only happens on the CC website, and no other...

mine too, every time i log on, sometimes 3-4 times a session

It could be the ads to the right. It did that to me over christmas time with a certain ad drove me crazy..

Sorry, I'm not having any problems with this site.

Try deleting your cookies and phlishing, log out and start again.  If you can find the page where it starts, take a screen shot and send it with a short message to the contact number.

I had problems with a pop up two years ago and doing the above took care of the problem.

Yes, I'm also going crazy with this freezing problem. I can add 1-3 items to my food log and then the page suddenly freezes and that's it. It says on IE Status bar that it's loading http:// ad.doubleclick.* and that's it. I have to kill my browser and log back in again and again and again. It's a pain in the ass if I enter all my daily calories in the evening. And it happens on all the computers I have tried, so I don't think it's caused by the computers configuration...

Please, please, please fix this problem cause it's making it rather uncomfortable and annoying to use CC.

I was having the same problem, but ONLY with a certain ad... I can't remember who it was for (great advertising...) only that it was red, and was listing names of companies this company has done something for.  EVERY TIME this ad came up, CC would freeze.  Took me 7 minutes to log an egg the other day.

Haven't seen the ad in a bit though, fingers crossed.

Edited April 28:  The ad is back... it's for SAPIENT, and actually makes my browser unresponsive while it's flipping through it's little commercial.
