Hi! My name's Margie - here's my info. :}
1. History with weight loss: I've been overweight for years and years - I've been successful with a few diets, but gained the weight back plus some when I'd finally crash and burn.
2. History with Calorie Count: I've been a member of Calorie Count for a while - but didn't participate in anything through my recent pregnancy. My baby is now a month old, and I'm under my prepregnancy weight, so I want to take advantage of the head start I've been given.
3. Reason for joining this group: 1. You can never have too many friends. You can never have too many Christian friends. 3. You can never have too many Christian friends that relate to where you are in life.
4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests: Well, I'm obviously a SAHM - who loves the Lord! hee hee! I'm 34, and I've been married for 10 years to a wonderful man who also loves the Lord. We've got 3 girls - ages 8, 5 and 1 month old. We also have 1 dog and 3 cats. Sometimes I really feel like a zookeeper! I've never enjoyed exercising, so that is one of my biggest struggles. I love to cook, so I really need to learn to cook less southern and more healthily. I also love to read, play games with friends and maybe someday I'll get to scrapbook again.

So it looks like we all have new borns! Margie, Jenny and I are sisters and we both have newborns as well. Hers is 3 months and mine is 2 months old today. We both have all boys and love em!! I'm actually not a stay at home mom but I DO love the Lord!!! (I get a pass on the SAH mom part since I'm the sister *wink wink*)
Well, since I am at work right now I'll have to catch up a little more later. I'll do my bio etc tonight when I get home.
Let's get this pregnancy weight off!! I'm going to the gym tonight.
Hello! I hope this group is still active. here's my info
1. History with weight loss: I've been thin to average most of my life but 11 years ago I quit smnoking and hit my 30's and everything changed after baby #4. I've been 20-30 lbs overweight since then. Sometime less when successfully working at it but mostly in that range.
Right now I'm at 153 and my goal is 127
2. History with Calorie Count: I've been a member of Calorie Count for a while and participated in a group that fizzled out...wel I did to around last July.
3. Reason for joining this group: 1. I'm looking for encouragement and accountability.
4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests: I have been a SAHM for 14 year. and have 4 children. I home school them all and their ages are:
14-boy, 12-boy, 10-girl, 7-boy
I work part time on Saturdays as a goldsmith, we have one dog and foster a "service dog to be". I love cooking like they do on food network and I like to eat. So here I am. I love bicycling, gardening, knitting and reading. I hope I can be a blessing to this group while you all help me be accountable
Welcome to the group! We haven't been too active online lately, but I've definitely been thinking about these girls and praying for them!
I homeschool too! My oldest are 8 (today) and 5, both girls.
I'll try to check in a little more often than I have been. I'm glad you're here - we can all help each other on this journey!
