how often is that line used, hmmm?  ;)

so, yeah, i am a very youthful 29 year old woman who will be turning 30 in may.  (eek!)  i have noticed as i've gotten older/as my juvenile onset rheumatoid arthritis has progressed, that i am gaining weight more rapidly and losing it more slowly.  my metabolism has changed a great deal over the past, say, three to four years, and the arthritis has made certain kinds of exercise difficult/painful.  (i am looking into yoga and pilates to add to walking and no/low-resistance cycling.)  my metabolism has slowed down considerably!  as a result of both that and a few new bad eating habits, i have slowly-but-surely gained approximately 50 lbs. over the past three or four years.  (it's the slow gain that has made it so sneaky!  hehe)  i do NOT want to carry this weight into my 30's!  it is my goal to lose 50 lbs. by august 1st at 1303 calories per day.

and THAT, folks, is why i've joined calorie count plus!  i am hoping to make some friends on here, so that we can provide mutual support to one another.

say hello sometime!  :)

Good luck!  I think you can do it if you eat lots of fresh veggies and whole grains and stay away from processed and sugar foods - that would also help with inflammation.  Anyway GOOD LUCK!!!
