Introducing myself...would like to get to know some of you!

Hello everyone!

My name is Anie and I am 30 years old. I am married to my high school love and we have a 7 month old daughter. I am a teacher for kiddos with special needs. The special needs they have deal more with their emotional issues, Autism, Aspergers, Bipolar Tendencies, learning disabilities, etc. My family is the most important thing to me.

I need to lose 51 pounds and need some help doing it! I gained weight a few years ago after my dad died unexpectedly. I did good with my weight while pregnant only gained 28 pounds...but I can't seem to get the weight off now. I need to lose the extra weight I had pre pregnancy and the pregnancy weight as well.

If anyone else is out there and in the same boat...I'd love to get "to know you".

Good luck to everyone!

Anie

Welcome Anie! Smile

Hi Anie!  I am also 30 years old and have a 11 month old baby.  I think you've come to a really good place to start losing weight.  I think Calorie Count has really been a great tool in helping me lose some weight.   I'll be one of your calorie count friends! Laughing

Hi guys!  I just want to say congrats on starting this journey of weight loss, and if you are looking for support and motivation, you have come to the right place.  Calorie Count has helped me loose 24 pounds, and with only 8 more to go to reach my goal, I'm feeling better than ever!

If you have any questions or you are just having a hard day, I'll be here for ya! I know that some days are easier than others as you go along.

Good Luck :)

I just wanted to say hi... because I think your family pics are so cute!

I'm not really trying to lose a lot of weight (5'9", about 150 lbs, would like to weigh closer to 140), but trying to get in shape more than anything!

Welcome to CC :)

hi anie!

i'm new here, too, and i just started today.  i'm 22 years old and i want to lose 50-60 pounds.  at 5'5" and roughly 180 pounds, most people guess that i'm 150 pounds or less, but i think it's because of my porportions. i'd been using that excuse for way too long though, and now i need to do something about it.

i've never been thin, but i've never been obese, either.  however, i've come to the realization that my dress sizes have just been getting bigger and bigger since high school and i'm starting to not fit into a lot of size 14 things! so i'm trying to curb this ridiculousness, because i don't want to get into plus sizes.

nice to meet you - and your family pic is adorable!

cheers! :)

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!

I'm 39 and have been with CC just over a year now. I have managed to lose 65 pounds and have 6 more until I get tot a 'normal' BMI. Then I might aim for another 15 or 20 pounds so I have some "wiggle room" in that "Normal" category. We'll se what happens when I get there...the pounds don't come off as fast as they used to :)

You've found a great resource here! CC has really helped me stay on track. I have made quite a few friends and now host a motivational group called Schmooze & Lose that keeps me determined and focused and provides extra motivation by celebrating the triumphs of my fellow Schmoozers. We might not lose every week, but we're not giving up and we're there for each other. Look for a new group starting November 12th if you're interested!

Check out my profile and add me as a friend if you want. I've already added you - so get journalling (I love to read everyone's journals)

Best of luck to you!
