Introduction/Looking for a Buddy

Quote  |  Reply

Hello all,

My name is Dana and I live in Calgary, Canada. The last 8-10 pounds seem very stubborn! I have been maintaining this weight for a year after losing 10 pounds previously and have kept it off through holidays and Christmas however I just seem to have lost my momentum as far as exercise goes and am hoping a buddy might help get my motivation back again. It would be great to have someone to email every day or two to keep on track.

I am 45 yrs old, 133 lbs, 5 ft 1 and want to get to 125 or less. My previous lowest weight after two kids was 121 that I was at for many years. Gained weight when I met my present husband 9 years ago...20 pounds! Yikes.

Drop me a line if you want to buddy up to support and motivate each other!

Dana

We've got a really good group going in the weekly weigh in thread.  Please feel free to drop by the group has been good and supportive.

Lots of different ages and sizes -- but it tends to run to the more petite woman side.   Lots of under 5'2".

If you don't want to post your weekly that's fine as well.   Just keeps us honest and moving in the right direction.

CC has been a great tool for me -- joined at the end of March and am down 16 lbs since then.   I am now hovering around goal -- but always seem to take a trip and have those last 5-7 lbs to go.   Stay the course - log you food and ask as many questions as you can.  The knowledge base and info you get is great.

Good luck!  Our official weigh in day is Monday -- but we have folks in the group that do Tuesday and Friday as well.   Come on over if you are looking for some support friends!
