Hi all,

I'm a newbie to CC - started 3 weeks ago. I found the site by googling for a calorie counter. I don't have much to lose, JUST three more pounds and I'm at goal. I'm 62 years young and very active. I'm 5' 6", current weight 129, goal weight 126. I run (be it ever so slowly) 20-25 miles a week, strength train, take yoga classes and swim. And, yes, I am still working full time. I teach GED math in the GED Academy at Florida State College. My husband is 71 - his fitness resume is most impressive. He's doing his 107th marathon in NYC this fall. I have two sons and one grandchild. I'm totally nutzy over this little girl. I'm mostly vegetarian, but certainly not vegan. Last month, my husband and I competed in the national senior games in San Fran. We ran the 10K road race. He medaled (Bronze) in his age division and I placed 9th (out of 10) in my age division. I'm always thrilled not to come in last! It was absolutely inspiring to see what older women from around the country are capable of doing. Looking forward to reading everyone's posts.

Hey!

My name's Melissa and I'm a college sophomore. Last year, I definitely gained the freshman 15, before Christmas break. Then I lost it in January and February, but it's slowly coming back now. I'm determined to get a flat stomach (not washboard abs or anything, but no little muffin-topping going on) by Christmas-time, where I MIGHT be going to Mexico!! I joined this group so that I could keep myself honest and not fall off the wagon, like I have in the past.  I've always been naturally thin, so I'm not used to having to exercise (I HATE exercising). I'm 5' 9" and 150 pounds. My goal is 140. My boyfriend has lost more than 60 pounds (Yes, SIXTY. And I am sooo proud of him!) in the last two years. If he can work that hard for me, then certainly I can put in a little effort for that sought-after beach body.
