My starting weight I count as my first WW weight which was 228.6
Current weight is 218.8
Goal weight is 135-140
I am so excited to be doing this challenge...I can promise to get in at least 30 minutes of exercise this week so that I do my share in making sure we all win this thing! I wish it had started yesterday...I walked 3 hours...lol...
Tomorrow is my official WW weigh-in so this is the number I will be using each week as my official weigh-in number...since my 218.8 is last Monday's WW weigh-in number...I hate to go back and forth between WW and my scale because I know they are not the same...I hope this is okay with everyone!

That is fine with me! What we can use is your previous weeks weight and in turn, you will be losing more! HEHEHEHE I understand not wanting to go back and forth!
I would like everyone to try and log onto Forum 5 at least once daily so I am not overwhelmed on Fridays with totals.... Hopefully I can log on a daily basis.
Of course this week is our walking challenge, but the challenge category will change weekly, so that is great.

Hi guys...so glad you are going to be the co-captians...I emailed her to tell her I would but admit that I am So Glad you guys are and not me....I was afraid that I would let people down if I did not keep a handle on things...sounds like you guys are going to do great, splitting things up...

Okay...my goal weight for the challenge is 190...that is 28.8 pounds...I think it is doable...we shall see!!!
I have had a good weekend so far...been under my WW points both days which makes up for my horrendous Friday...lol...I hope it is enough to show a good loss tomorrow!!

yay tabby! That is a really great goal! i thought I was doing worse, but today I am doing well.... Just ate dinner and it was a total of 180 calories... I am at 986 for the day... Still haven't gone swimming!

My name is Ashley, I only 20 but will be 21 on June 3! YAY! I used to be very very thin in high school but because I stopped exercising I gained a LOT of weight. Nearly 85 pounds. My goal is to reach a weight and body type I am happy with and be healthy for years and my life ahead. I am losing weight relatively slow because I exercise minutly, minimally and rarely. It is sporadic. Tomorrow, I am going to go to the gym and walk (for 30 mins) and then do some weights.... Afterward, I have cheer practice from 6-8 pm. I interact with the kids but DO NOT do nearly as much as I would like. Anyway, I am in school to become a surgeon with either an emphasis in plastics or in neuro.... havent decided. My goal for this challenge is to learn new things about myself and friends and to reach 185 by August 31.

Ashley...my goal weight for the challenge was 220...I think I will be lower with an average of 10 lbs per month but didn't want to let the team down by putting too much down...yesterday I was 236...This morning it looked like I was 235 but no one saw me cheating so I am not going to put that down yet...;-) wink wink...if it is 235 Friday morning that will show a 4 lbs loss for our team!!!!
So, Tabby...we need to walk all 7 days a week right, or can we walk more each day and take a day off? 30 mins a day X 7 days = 210 mins, right? Sundays are hard for me to exercise with my family's schedule but can make it up the other days if that is okay or will just have to tell them I need 30 mins...

If you choose to walk more each day, that will be better for the team. Basically the more you walk the more likely our chances of winning the challenge. Ok, I have been reading some of the posts from all the teams so these comments are not directed at anyone person.
Your STARTING WEIGHT for this week will be the ORIGINAL starting weight that you guys gave me, so you will be getting credit for TWO WEEKS of weightloss.
For the walking challenge, only PURPOSEFUL walking that actually raises your heart rate will count! So walking to the bathroom, to the car, up the stairs (unless purposely and repeatedl for exercise), walking in the mall (unless power walking) do not count. Walking at work does not count. Walking on a treadmill, intense walking in place in front of the t.c. and going out for purposeful exercise walking do count though. The purpose of the challenge is to get you a little out of your comfort zone... to go that extra mile for your team.
Oh, and just so you know I am not ignoring you between the hours of 7 am and 5 p.m eastern time... I'm at school. lol. But I will be out by May 29th.
no cardio besides walking counts. Ellipticals do not count. using steppers does count
