If you could invent a new food product...
what would it be, and why?
i just saw an idea for an organic ice cream cone made out of granola and goji berries, and it got me thinking.
Goji is totally awesome, and would taste wonderful in ice cream.
My mom already makes amazing goji, oatmeal, honey, and peanut cookies. Totally healthy and naturally sweet. Its not terribly original, but I'd totally love to market that as a cool idea.
Anything peanut butter and jam. PB&J bagels (like bagels with a peanut butter and jam mixed in the dough, not just bagels with peanut butter and jam on them :P), PB&J ice cream, PB&J soup... xD I dont know if anyone would buy it though.
OOH banana peanut butter chocolate ice cream.
K, so my choices aren't really the healthiest ones. Ahaha.

Edit: UGH, sorry for the double post. D:
I would invent a line of products with every low fat, substitute sugar, chemical stuff imaginable. So I could have banana bread with peanut butter sandwiched in thee middle dipped in chocolate for next to no calories....
All fabulous combinations, minus the guilt aftermath... I'd make a fortune! Hahaha
Something with no salt in it that tasted like it was drenched in salt.......no fat cheese that didn't taste like plastic........liquid protein "powder"...hey, do they make that aleady? I hate how that stuff clumps up in my food.

Eww.... No thanks. Give me real banana bread any day. All those chemical-containing foods taste exactly like a bunch of chemicals. Besides, calories aren't the devil. We all need 'em.

Agreed! The banana bread "muffins" I make - only 140-150 cal per serving!

Haha.. doesn't Hungry Girl already do that? ![]()
I'd go the route of Willy Wonka and create some wacky new fruit, a million times better than the snozberry! I'm thinking a banana-kiwi-apple. And it would have to be crunchy.
Would that be a bawipple? ![]()
Definitely :) But in the meantime, what I do, is dice the fruit up into this mushy salsa-type thing and dip cinnamon pita crisps into it. It's really good, but for some reason I'm too uncoordinated to even peel a kiwi without dropping the little bugger into the bin.
What about sugar-free cotton candy? Glorious. :)
I went through a phase where I was addicted to cotton candy for a few months. Crazy, right? Bad diabetic, bad!
